Ac works great 👍
I installed it on a 32’ 5th Rv and it works great. Quite enough and keeps the rv comfortable. Great unit for the price.

Defective Product
The media could not be loaded. Packaged great, no damage to box. Easy install and set up. Until I turned on, set it, let it run for 3 hours and returned to check on it, and room temp was 4 degrees higher! Listened to it for 20 minutes and realized it never made the typical “cycling” sound, let alone typical AC sounds (I’ve had dozens of AC’s over the years!) Never changed air temp as it blew air (blew out less than cool air which never got cooler). Turned it off- made the hissing sound as you can hear in the video for a solid 3 minutes! Now I have to deal with having someone help me (again) rebox and return as it’s too heavy for me to manage. I researched AC’s for a few days and settled on this. I did the company’s Tech chat support, and before I got to an actual Tech, they wanted my credit card info for $5 to chat with a “live Tech person” - that was the end for me- what a complete inconvenience; it’s being returned.

Capable AC for bedroom.
The Hisense 6000BTU window air conditioner is an efficient, compact and fairly lightweight remote controlled unit.I have been using an American name brand window AC unit for some years and I dreaded having to deal with it's weight and precarious placement for another season. When I saw the specifications of this new Hisense unit I noticed it was almost 20 lbs. lighter than what I had. Being the same BTU and more efficient I ordered the AC with great anticipation. The AC arrived in a box about 3/4 the size of my old unit and was well packaged. Setup was very simple and I quickly appreciated the lighter weight.I was able to reuse a few screw holes in my window and because of the way I reinforce the mounting, did not need to make new holes or use all of the screw mounts.I found the Hisense fit the window better and had more flange area than my old AC, all good points so far.Operation is very simple with all controls available from the remote. I did not feel the display was very visible in the daytime and there are no dimming modes.Initial operation was OK, the AC was barely quieter than the old one but it did seem to cool the room down fairly well, not as quickly as my old 6000BTU AC but within reason. Never very cold though in a room within the recommended area. The remote functions are OK although not very easy to read. I decided that the step up model with Wi-Fi would have been a better choice because of the phone app operation. As the season progressed I noticed the AC getting a little louder and then one day noticed a good amount of fan blade chaffing or bearing noise when the unit shut down. I did a few tests and made sure there was no standing water or debris in the unit. On start up the noise lasts a few seconds then goes away. No noticeable unusual fan blade noise when in operation but when the AC shuts down it's quite apparent and lasts longer. Something is amiss and I'll have to start a warranty claim, thankfully the warranty is for two years. I'll update this review once I get a resolution.*The AC is adequate but I feel the 250 sq. ft. claim might be a little generous. The unit is not particularly quiet but not so offensive as to lose points at this price point. The display and remote are a little disappointing but maybe only a half star. The size and weight are high points, much easier and safer to install.* Update: I reached out to Hisense about the fan noise and they agreed to replace the unit under warranty. While the process took a little back and forth, the customer service agents were very interested in resolving my issue and I am very satisfied with the outcome.I will raise the rating to a tentative 4 awaiting next cooling season and check it's operation.

It works, but...
THE SETTINGS PANEL IS UNREADABLE UNTIL DARK!! It has a faint white light behind white plastic. See photo- the unit is ON. Care to guess which setting it's on?? Me neither. The remote has a dimmer option but I couldn't tell any difference.

Missing installation kit
I think I could have given a 5 star rating except for the fact that the AC did not have an installation kit as promised. The AC works very well and love the easy touch controls. Nice and cool if a bit loud.

What I loved most about this air conditioner was the different modes.
The media could not be loaded. This summer, the heat was relentless, and I found myself in desperate need of a solution to cool down one of the smaller rooms in my home. After some research, I decided to install a window air conditioner with 6,000 BTUs of cooling power, which is perfect for rooms up to 250 square feet. The installation was a breeze thanks to the included window installation kit. I had the unit securely in place within an hour, and it was ready to go.Once it was up and running, I immediately noticed how efficient it was at cooling the room. The control panel is simple to use, and the remote made it even easier to adjust the settings without having to get up. With three cooling and fan speeds, I could easily customize the airflow to suit my needs, and the 4-way adjustable air louvers allowed me to direct the cool air exactly where I wanted it. On particularly hot days, I set the temperature around 65 degrees Fahrenheit, and within minutes, the room became a much more comfortable place to be.What I loved most about this air conditioner was the different modes. On humid days, the dry mode came in handy, helping to reduce the moisture in the air. The fan mode was also useful when I just needed a bit of ventilation without the full cooling effect. I even made use of the sleep mode, which kept the temperature perfect throughout the night without making the room too cold. The 24-hour timer was another feature I quickly grew to appreciate. I could set it to turn off automatically after I left the room, ensuring I didn’t waste energy. And in the rare event of a power outage, the auto-restart feature saved me the hassle of reprogramming the settings.Maintenance has been easy so far. The air filter is removable and washable, which means I don’t have to worry about constantly buying replacements. Overall, this air conditioner has made a huge difference in keeping me cool and comfortable during the hot summer days. It’s efficient, user-friendly, and fits perfectly in a small space.
