Good neck - Great price!
I'm very happy with this purchase. The quality of the neck for $40 is great. Only two frets need to be dressed with the fret end file. They aren't bad but after well over three decades of playing I be a bit fussy. The neck was purchased for a custom project. I have paid 3x's that for a ST neck and the only real difference is the grade of the wood used. Definitely would buy from Kmise again. I have one of their ukuleles and it is done very nicely as well. Rock on!

Great for the price. Not player ready.
It was packed well and seems well made. I will have to do a fret level, but that is expected for the price. It fits well and installs easily. It will definitely need some finishing oil. The wood seems dry and thirsty. I like the double action truss rod. The frets were smaller than described.

Great fitting neck on my custom guitar
Love the look and the solid feel of the neck, fits really well on my application. Did a little engraving on the headstock, looks awesome!

Really high action on the nut.
Bought this neck knowing that it would need some fret work, which was pretty straightforward & typical for a cheap neck. My issues with this neck are primarily that they nut is very high, making the action very high, so unless 1) you've got the tools to file down the nut slots, 2) you're playing exclusively with a capo to lower the action, or 3) you're looking for a neck to play slide guitar, I'd avoid this neck. I think its a pretty design & there's situations that it would be a pleasant playing experience, so I can't go lower than 3, even though for me its probably a 2.

This neck is defective
The neck I received had the frets installed wrong. Was definitely not 25.5” fender scale. Fret spacing all wonky. Checked it against a stewmac fret scale ruler. Tried to email seller but the email address was invalid. I would consider a replacement cuz the rest of the neck was nice but how do I know I won’t get another reject ?

awesome value for the price
this is actually much better than it has any right to be given the price. some work on the frets to be done, but that's to be expected in a product at this price point... and that work is far less than I would have expected. had to do some alterations to get it to fit my particular build, again to be expected in a custom build. wood was nice and easy to work with. fretboard is beautiful. truss rod works. no complaints at all! looks, sounds and feels awesome on my build.
