Excellent choice of hub
Looks very sleek and has a wall-mounting option via screws or 3M adhesive. Alternatively, a nice stand for it to sit on a surface. Works very well, and is intuitive. It responds instantly and does what you press - whether that's shortcuts or menu options. The display is clearly readable from across the room. A twist of the dial can alter brightness of lights, or even open my curtains! It's great!

Solid upgrade for SwitchBot users
I’ve been using the SwitchBot Hub 3 for a few weeks now and it's been a solid addition to my setup. I don’t use Matter, so I can’t speak to those features, but everything else works really well. I also think it's set at a fair price point, given the sheer number of features and use cases it has. Setup was quick and painless, and the app makes it easy to connect and manage my devices. I’m using it mainly to control some SwitchBot plugs and smart curtains, and so far everything’s been reliable — no issues with connection or delays. The IR blaster is a nice bonus. I’ve been able to set it up to control my TV, which adds a bit of convenience when building automations or using voice control. Two reasons I’m not giving it 5 stars. 1. is because I’m not making use of some of the more advanced features, so it feels like I’m not getting all the value out of it yet. That said, it’s doing exactly what I need it to, and it’s been a big improvement in how I control my devices remotely. 2. It has to be plugged in all the time, making placement difficult. Would be great if it had a battery and could just be plugged in at night (to a dock preferably) Would definitely recommend it if you’re already using SwitchBot gear and want to tie it all together.

Excellent Hub
Fantastic Hub! Easy to setup via Switchbot App and Matter integration works flawlessly between Alexa, Gemini and Home Assistant. Built in motion sensor, humidity and Temperature sensors can be used in automations for all systems. Well worth the investment

More than just a hub
The Hub 3 is a fantastic upgrade – it’s more like a smart control panel than just a hub. I bought it for the roller shades, but the extra features really set it apart. The built-in environmental sensors are a great bonus and work perfectly with my smart home setup - matter compatibility is great and it works with my Hue setup too. It did take me a little time to get used to the controls (it reminds me of a Logitech Harmony remote, so I kept expecting a touchscreen), but it’s responsive and easy to use once you get the hang of it. I love the sleep mode at night, and the fact I don’t always have to rely on my phone or voice assistant is a big win. Overall, it’s unique in the market and really versatile – highly recommended if you want more than just a hub.

Limited SmartHome Control
This is a nice looking piece of equipment but not one I expected to need until I found out that their presence sensors required a hub to use Matter. It was reasonably easy to set up, although exposing the presence sensor to homeKit was not intuitive, but easy to do once you know how. It has some sensors in the device itself such as Humidity, Temperature and Light. Humidity and Temperature are exposed to HomeKit but not the light levels, key for me as I only want to turn on lights if it is dark. I did manage to get the IR blaster working quite easily and that setup was very straight forward and a great addition. A number of YouTubers stated that this can be used to control your SmartHome however I only appear to be able to control devices connected via the Hub, which is 30 devices, and not other devices that are connected in Matter, which limits it's benefits. You do get 30 virtual buttons that in theory you could use to control HomeKit but would probably make the logic a bit complex, I haven’t yet experimented in this area. Support fixed an issue I had, which turned out to be a bug in the software, in a real quick couple of days although it did take me some time to get through to a knowledgeable person.

Great Matter Hub
Really impressed with the SwitchBot Hub 3 so far. It feels really well made—the dial is super solid and satisfying to use, and the screen is nice and clear. One of the best parts is the built-in temperature and humidity sensor (which is actually in the USB-C cable, not the hub itself—smart design!). It connects easily with my other devices—TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, and all my SwitchBot gear. Matter support, ties everything together really well. With integration with platforms like Philips Hue through HomeKit. Overall, it’s a great little hub that does a lot, looks good, and just works.

Was working on but now has constant notification of ( space occupied) with no way whatsoever to turn it off unless you stop all notifications which in my opinion is not a great option

I primarily use Apple Home with an Apple TV as my hub, and the SwitchBot Hub 3 has truly taken my smart home setup to the next level. Thanks to this hub, I was able to connect my portable air conditioner to Apple Home. Before, I had to manually open the app every time I wanted to control it. Now, I can trigger it with simple shortcuts directly from the Apple Home app, which is way more convenient — especially in the summer when I want to cool down the house before getting home. One of the best features of the Hub 3 is its built-in sensors for temperature, humidity, and ambient light. These let me create custom automations, like automatically turning on the AC when it gets too hot. That’s especially important for me since I have a small dog at home, and I want to make sure he’s comfortable and safe during hot days while I’m away. I also have scenes set up to turn on lights when I arrive in the evening, making the home feel more welcoming. The Matter support makes integration with Apple Home incredibly easy and seamless — no complicated setup required. On top of that, I was able to connect several “non-smart” devices that use infrared remotes, like fans, lights, my soundbar, and more. Now I can control all of them with Siri or automate them based on time or conditions in the home. One thing I especially love about this new model is the ability to use physical buttons for triggering simple and efficient shortcuts. It’s incredibly satisfying to be able to quickly control devices or scenes with a tap, without always relying on voice commands or navigating apps. Overall, the Hub 3 has become a central piece of my smart home. It’s easy to install, works reliably, and adds smart functionality to so many older devices. I recommend it without hesitation and I’m more than satisfied with my purchase.

Ce modèle va désormais bien au-delà d’un simple hub : - Il permet toujours de connecter l’ensemble de vos appareils SwitchBot, facilitant le contrôle à distance et la création de scénarios. - Le Hub 3 intègre un capteur de température, d’humidité et de luminosité. - L’infrarouge a été amélioré avec une portée étendue, ce qui vous permet de contrôler une large gamme d’appareils "non connectés" classiques (TV, climatiseurs, projecteurs, etc.) via l’application SwitchBot ou les assistants vocaux. Inizialmente scettico sull'utilità di avere un'altro hub per i miei devices SwitchBot (ho già un Hub 2 e un Hub Mini Matter) ma curioso di provarlo: ringrazio la mia curiosità !!! Anche gli altri hub hanno caratteristiche di tutto rispetto, ma questo SwitchBot Hub 3 offre finalmente delle funzionalità che lo rendono meno "una scatola tecnica" senza appeal... Uno schermo non invasivo ed in grado di fornire informazioni dettagliate (e personalizzabili !) molto versatile e piacevole da vedere/leggere, alcuni tasti funzione di base per operazioni comuni e soprattutto, ben visibile ed in primo piano, un comando tipo "moviola" per gestire device multimediali. Incorpora un comodissimo trasmettitore IR (infrarossi) per poter replicare qualsiasi telecomando abbiate in zona (o disperso in giro per casa): dalla TV al condizionatore, ma anche per un ventilatore, un amplificatore, etc (purche' ad infrarossi, ovviamente, non a radiofrequenza !). Oltre gli aspetti estetici, che avrete già notato, ci sono i sono i soliti aspetti qualitativi e di packaging a cui Switchbot ha abituato i propri clienti: confezione precisa, ordinata e ben studiata, ed un contenuto di altra qualità, che include persino la dima per fare i fori sul muro nel caso preferiate una installazione a parete. Ho optato per l'installazione piu' classica, a scrivania, con il supporto fornito, per avere sottomano la situazione dei device collegati. Collegandolo infatti ad altri prodotti Switchbot che già siano presenti in casa, e' possibile comandarli comodamente dall'Hub, mediante i tasti, o mediante delle routine smart che potete creare con pochi semplici passi, utilizzando l'app. Di recente sto iniziando a prendere confidenza con lo standard Matter, e l'Hub 3 e' già perfettamente in grando di gestire i device compatibili: e' un buon punto sicuro da cui iniziare (soprattutto perche' arriva a gestirne ben 30 !). I tasti personalizzabili sono poi una piacevole comodità: non solo e' possibile attribuire ad ognuno il controllo immediato di un particolare device, ma addirittura sullo schermo appare, in corrispondenza del tasto impostato, l'icona corretta del device scelto per quel tasto ! Incredibile ! Non e' facile riuscire ad approfondire tutte le funzioni e le personalizzazioni che permette, tutte configurabili facilmente nel dettaglio tramite l'app SwitchBot: e' una continua piacevole scoperta ed una continua meraviglia. C'e' anche, e non ne avevo trovato traccia nella documentazione in prima battuta, un sensore di presenza e di prossimità (lo schermo si riattiva e la tastiera si illumina quando avvicinate la mano) ! Pertanto, la mia curiosità iniziale trova una importante conferma, che credo mi farà riposizionare gli Hub già presenti, per fare in modo che questo diventi, a pieno titolo, l'Hub principale di casa. Se siete in dubbio quindi, non esitate, ma state attenti ! E' un prodotto che da' assuefazione e stimola continuamente nuove idee di configurazione della vostra casa domotica !

El SwitchBot Hub 3 es un concentrador muy completo para los productos de SwitchBot, pero además destaca porque permite añadir y controlar mandos a distancia por infrarrojos. En mi caso, he podido incluir sin problemas el Apple TV y la televisión. Gracias a esto puedo controlar el volumen de la tele, apagarla o encenderla, poner pausa en el Apple TV, reproducir contenido, etc., todo desde un único dispositivo y también mediante automatizaciones. Otro punto muy interesante es que incorpora sensores de iluminación, temperatura y humedad. Estos valores se muestran directamente en la pantalla del hub, lo cual resulta muy práctico para consultar de un vistazo el estado ambiental de la habitación sin necesidad de abrir ninguna app. En conjunto, es un dispositivo muy útil que centraliza tanto los productos SwitchBot como otros dispositivos del hogar, aportando comodidad, información y control en un solo equipo. Muy recomendable para cualquier hogar domótico.

My good experiences with other SwitchBot devices over the years encouraged me to try the SwitchBot Hub 3 for some extra functionality with a SwitchBot Lock Ultra Touch Combo that I purchased recently. What is really nice about this unit is that it does so many different things. I like having temperature displays and remote monitoring of temperature, but I also like the direct access programmable buttons on the unit… As it did in my case, if you have a use for one feature on the Hub 3, you will likely also find something else it can do for you, making it a great value at a reasonable price. The unit is well made and feels sturdy while also being compact and lightweight. I am finding more and more SwitchBot device solutions as they expand their already very broad ecosystem, and it is nice to consolidate devices into a single app. The Home Screen on the Hub 3 is customizable to display time, temp & humidity with the built in sensors or external sensors, the status of other SwitchBot devices, locks, etc. There are 4 programmable soft keys on the Hub 3, a rotary dial, and some fixed function keys for navigation. The screen can be dimmed or turned off and can be motion sensitive, if desired, to turn back on upon approach, which the operation and sensitivity of is programmable. The connection range from SwitchBot devices to the hub is impressive, as well as WiFi connectivity to the router. The Hub 3 will control infrared devices as well, for example, giving the ability to adjust stereo volume or channels from another room from within the app on a customizable screen. The range of the infrared emitter is excellent. This is an awesome feature that works really well. I am super happy with this setup, especially the programmable soft keys. I have a multi room garage where the lights are all plugged into outlets via extension cords that aren’t wall switch controlled. I have gotten around this in the past by using the SwitchBot app, which is excellent, to turn the lights on/off from the app. Now, I have several other better solutions. The Hub 3 mounts to the wall, on a table, or anywhere I like. The 4 soft keys available to control devices or directly enter into menus in the Hub 3 are incredibly handy. I programmed several soft buttons on the unit to operate all of the garage lights in tandem, so now I have a physical “switch” mounted on the wall at the entry door with no building wiring required. In addition, utilizing Scenes and Automations in the app to control the SwitchBot Switch (a plug in device that has a physical switch, an app controlled switch, and even monitors energy usage) I can have the garage lights turn on automatically when I activate the lock keypad or open the door. I have them programmed to turn off late at night if I forget. I need to stress the level of customization that is easily available in the app between the Hub 3, lock, lock keypad, Switches… and all of the SwitchBot devices. If you can follow the menus you will find many options, most with descriptions of what the option does and how it works. The app has many methods of customization and integration with home control systems from Apple, Google, Amazon, Matter, etc. The layout of the SwitchBot app is easy to work with and it is stable… this is important because so many good devices come with poorly designed and glitchy apps. If I find any issues I will report back, but at this point I am very satisfied with the solutions the product offered.
