Eddie Bauer Stowaway Packable Tote Bag

This stowaway tote is the best. It takes up little room when in storage (stowed away) and provides ample room to carry items. While it does not have any pockets other than the stowaway pocket, it is perfect for loading items and carrying them. I have carried heavy items in this tote and can definitely say it is durable. I also love the color choices! While some may find the lack of a zipper closure a flaw, I actually like the cinch closure better. I open it in the middle and can peek inside. With a zipper, I would have to unzip at least 3/4 of the way to have a decent view of what is inside.

Sturdy, lightweight, holds a ton, not hard to fold back to the little pack. I would definitely buy again!

I needed a bag that would carry our travel Munchkin Sparrow stroller better than the one it comes with, and this seems to be just the bag. It slips right in with just enough room to not be frustrating, and not too much to be baggy. The sturdiness of the bag should be perfect, yet still very light. Exactly what I was looking for! (Will update if anything changes after several trips.)

Bought for expandable luggage for my motorcycle. I use small, dual sport-style, saddle bags on my bike and this fits inside nicely and gives me the option of picking up a few groceries on the way home and securing them to the passenger seat (with a bungee net). Seems well made. Doesn’t pack as small as some other bags, but the durability seems to be light years ahead of them, so it’s worth the extra space in the saddle bag.

Mostly, I really *love* this bag. Pros: super sturdy for a packable bag – the webbing straps, reinforced bottom, strong seams. I love the cinch top to keep things inside (zipper would be good too, but this is easy to handle), inside zip pocket (which becomes the pocket to stuff the bag back inside), and outside water bottle pocket. Oh, and the color: the port red is a wow, and I'd say pretty true to photos. It is a little difficult to stuff the bag back into its pocket, but given slightly heavier materials than most, it's understandable (plus, I'll probably just keep it hanging, or flat if on a trip). Great bag for farmer's market, travel, toting around of stuff. I do wish the shoulder straps were just a bit longer: the bag sits just at my underarm, and that means I can't carry it as a shoulder bag and stuff it full (ok when just hand carrying). Hence four stars instead of five.

This bag is awesome. Folds up small but is quite heavy duty. The top closes with a drawstring and has good straps. Highly recommend. Going to order another one to keep in the car.

Love this stowaway tote. It is a good value for the money. Well constructed, it holds a great amount of "stuff"...I traveled for a week with what I packed inside and it still met the personal item requirements on a recent flight. Don't love this particular color - but the price was right. Packs away to nothing - great functionality! Worth every penny
