Great replacement battery
The original battery that came with the camera was not holding a chargeI was so happy to have found this replacement battery and it worked great during a month long trip to Europe

When you have to replace a battery...
This reviewer has enjoyed the use of his Canon Elph digital camera for over ten years and is disinclined to replace it just because more recent models have more bells and whistles. Unfortunately, the original battery is showing its age, and won't hold a charge very long. This Canon replacement battery is just the thing to keep that old and familiar camera working fine. Well recommended.

Exact replacement
I took the recommendation of a previous review to buy the original battery. Recharges and lasts longer than other inexpensive brands. So far I'm not disappointed.
