Brilliant umbrella! Not flimsy at all like some fold in umbrellas. Wind resistant excellent so far. Closing it was a little difficult at first but got the hang of it. Customer service was great and nice touch to have a little note inside from Kayleigh at Mr Pen

Bought for teenage daughters' school bag as destroyed numerous previous. Was a bit dubious as low cost but pleasantly surprised. Good brolly, great opening action and has windproof slots. A bit stiff to close but otherwise all good. Too early to rate longevity but seems pretty solid little brolly.

I bought this umbrella for a trip to Japan since I wanted a compact umbrella that was purple. Although it is compact and reasonably lightweight, I did not know that it cannot be reopened unless it has been completed closed - something VERY inconvenient when going in and out of places often which is common when traveling and sightseeing. So first you press the close button, then you have to press the umbrella all the way down before you can press the open button again. Also, I found that it leaked a little, possible due to the wind flaps. UPDATE: Seller kindly offered me a refund when they saw I was less than completely happy with the product.

Great quality, sturdy enough. But it's smaller than expected. Too small actually.
