Is the water window plastic?

I wish a new version could have an OUTSIDE plastic water window, but an inside glass water window that actually touches the water.

why do you ask? if want something at a reasonable price it's not made in the USA

No it doesn't have a warm function. Once it boils, the power switch automatically turns off.
