I was a bit worried about how bulky it would be but it collapsed really well into my laptop bag for easy transport. The tightening strap was easy to use without having to visually look at it (could do it by feel and kept my head from dropping forward the way a typical c shaped neck pillow would. Material light and breathable and I didnt get hot. Fit well on me and my hubs who is much taller and with a longer neck.

This travel pillow was great for keeping my head upright as I slept on a recent 10 hour flight. It allowed me to snatch 3-4 hours of sleep, which was amazing because I don’t sleep on planes unless I’m absolutely exhausted. Four stars because it was difficult to pack when I wasn’t using it, because the inflexible core prevented me from squishing or rolling the collar into a small space. Also, it is tight around my fat neck. (Maybe I should give the travel pillow 5 stars and my neck 4 stars?) Anyway, loosening the slip lock solved the “too tight” problem but then the travel collar didn’t hold my head as securely.

I was seeking a good compromise between a cooler neck pillow and good support. Unfortunately, this product doesn’t meet that test for me. Although the Evolution X seems to be of good quality and might very well work for some people, I could not get a comfortable fit. It rode too high on my face, touching the bottom of my ears. FWIW, I am a male 5’8” with an average neck. The concept is good and it is supportive (if anything too supportive). The hard plastic in it is too rigid for my preference. I might have kept it if it were cooler (yes, I know they make a cool version but I thought this would be “cool enough” with more support). I guess that I will have to see how the cool version supports. If it is slightly less supportive but far cooler, then it will be a winner. If not, the quest for a better travel neck pillow will continue.

So I met this really cute guy named Daniel at the gym and when I told him I travel for work out he suggested this neck pillow! It arrived so quickly and it feels amazing! It's super soft and comfortable and very easy to adjust to your neck! It has a gentle sturdiness to it that would totally keep my head from bobbing around during a flight. I got the blue one and I cant wait to try it out!
