I have 4 cats all under 5yrs old & all are fixed. The two older ladies are rather large girth-wise and they are 3 & 4. The other two are a set of twins M/F both are just about 1yr. They are not over-weight and they are longer than the two older chunky ones. The older two don't want anything to do with it really. They are plumpkins and like to lay around soft blankets all day but the twins are on it several times a day. It seems to be the best thing that's happened to them since the 5 tube maze i got them earlier in the year. It's fantastic for them to get some of the pent up energy they have and tho they still have the zoomies it's cut down half of it, especially the middle of the night Daytona 500 race they love to do. This particular one I purchased (after lots of research) was perfect. Expensive yes but WELL WORTH IT!! I even bought the biggest one I think and honestly it's not big enough! But it's almost perfect! The size here counts, i cant stress that enough because they run on it not just walk and when they run they get pretty high up there but you can see where a smaller one would fold them in half the wrong way and they will hurt themselves or hurt each other because many times they are both on it together. I mentioned their ages and sizes because it makes a huge difference. Obviously kittens under 4 months might get lost on a big wheel but remember they grow very fast. If you can afford a smaller one for that age and buy the big one when they are teenagers and adults then by all means do so, but I don't have that luxury and was very apprehensive when buying this because of the cost and very relieved when they jumped on it so many times daily. The other two are missing out. I bought the one that lights up at the bottom when they are running. I did it because the room it's in isn't very lit up. You don't really need it, it doesn't make or break the wheel. It's just a matter of taste. The inside part they run on is a different story. You can use the colors to match the room it's in or not. I put a light grey carpet type in. Because the area is a bit dark I thought they'd be able to see it better. They seem to be good with it. Another thing is that this one is fairly quiet. I've read many of these wheels are loud. This one doesn't bother me at all. It's in my living room in which I sleep on a hospital bed in and it never wakes me up. The AC is much louder. The other great thing about this wheel was putting it together. There's two types of wheels. One that's complicated and takes hours to put together and one that is the complete opposite. This one is the latter of the two. It went together very easily and also pretty quickly. It's the top of the line in exercise wheels. It's literally perfect. It may be big but it doesn't take up alot of space and the inside is wide enough to allow two cats on it together. It's heavy enough to not tip over no matter how rough they are and these babies are definitely rough with their toys. But its not so heavy that it's hard to move around. They only get on it together when they fight over who's turn it is next. Happy, my female twin decided that this is HER wheel and she only allows her brother on it when she's done or taking a break but as soon as she wants it back best believe she gets it back instantly. She also displays much gratitude for it and will run to me to show me that gratitude or leaves me little presents in my bed like her favorite toys or balls. Point being she has been so much happier than she was before the wheel came. (I did name her Happy Kat when we got her as a kitten) The quality is fantastic. It's not flimsy at all and I feel safe letting them go nuts on it. They also feel safe and very confident. Their tails are always straight up like flag poles. One last thing, train them using a Lazer light. Put it just high enough inside the wheel to encourage them to catch it. It made them start using the wheel instantly. Don't bother trying to hang up a toy to get them to use it because it will go all the way around. And really lastly...BUY THIS WHEEL, ITS PERFECT!!! You won't regret it!!

We have purchased two of these wheels in the past 2 years. The first one was destroyed by the cats. We have 4 of our five using it constantly; the 5th is an indoor/outdoor cat, and despises the wheel as the devils device. It is lightweight, and easy to relocate, if you want to watch the cats run in circles, but then move it back to the cat room at night, very convenient. However, It is not sufficiently sturdy. The first wheel the cats were always dismounting the wheel off the rack, and eventually broke the connecting-arm mount on one stand. I jerry-rigged it back together, but they continued to thrash it until the wheel itself broke. The 2nd wheel may be a newer design. It dismounts from the base less frequently; it may also be that the cats learned the limits (not likely). In any case, it wobbles, it wanders, it has about a foot of travel left/right on any given day when i straighten it out. It can be noisy - like a loud motor, when they get it going fast but usually its not audible. I finally took the 1st wheel out of the room today while cleaning, and tried to break it apart to get it in the trash. - what a hassle. if you are so blessed as to total out one of these wheels to the point of disposal, you should know that the actual strongest component of the entire wheel is the running mat. The glue on that mat is structural. You cannot actually disassemble the wheel without cutting the mat at the joint lines. Once you razor through the joints, it slides apart pretty easily. But it was an adventure. And, that is true even though the cats-claws have left the running mat shredded and little blue foam fuzz everywhere. It is their favorite scratching toy. If I could recommend a few things to the manufacturer- #1 each part should have a recyclable plastic label - all my plastic is going in the garbage because its not labeled. (was probably gonna end up there anyway due to the nature of recycling in the US, but I do my part when I can). #2 need to try to find a way to put a retainer on the inside of the track so the wheel can't just come off the rack. #3 I need a larger and heavier-duty version. Its a great product, but I don't actually want to just buy a new one every year. Single or double cats might not kill it, but 4 competative cats, in constant rotation, fighting for the right to run - yeah, its gonna get worn out pretty fast. I'm going to try one of the large alternative wooden wheels for my next wheel, but would consider another One-Fast-Cat in the future, particularly if issues 2 & 3 get some love.

Alright, if you own a cat, that has a lot of energy, or just seems bored. This is a game changer, especially for those late night early morning zoomies. My cat loves it!!!!!!! I honestly thought she would have nothing to do with it. I was dead wrong! Easy to put together, easy to move around if you need to relocated it to another room. Super sturdy, definitely keeps them and you entertained. Worth the money. Color is neutral. I do like how you can get replacement pads with calm designs. Pad are soft and durable, they can have really good traction.

We've had the 7th Generation OneFastCat wheel for a few weeks now, and our cats have been testing it out at every turn and they love it! As longtime fans of OneFastCat and having owned many, many of their cat wheels over the years, I can confidently say this 7th generation is their best design yet. Putting it together was a breeze—it snaps together intuitively in under 15 minutes, even with my curious cats helping me out! At 48 inches, this wheel is big enough to keep even my largest Savannah cats entertained. The redesigned base is solid and stable, with no wobbles at all, even when my biggest cats are running at full speed. The wheels now sit inside the base plate, giving it a cleaner, sleeker look. Plus, the switch to stainless steel pins makes attaching the wheels super easy. It’s light enough to move from room to room, so we can watch all the antics as they run on the wheel, tearing around and burning off their energy! The interior felt pads are a fantastic upgrade from the old foam ones. They’re tougher, look nicer, and switching to felt means no more little foam shreds. Another cool feature is the optional felt pads for the exterior, which give the wheel a stylish, almost luxury vibe. The felt is also replaceable, with different colors and designs available, so you can easily change things up whenever you feel like it. Overall, the OneFastCat exercise wheels have been a total game-changer for my high-energy cats. Regular exercise helps them maintain a healthy weight, keeps their moods up, and cuts down on destructive behavior since they’re busy burning off their energy. They jump on it throughout the day and night, happily running to their hearts’ content. Also of note, one of the best things is how much quieter it is—even at night, you can sleep peacefully while they run. As for durability, I’m confident this 7th generation model will hold up well. They offer a 45-day risk-free trial, so really, what do you have to lose? Training does take a little effort, but using a laser pointer, a wand toy, or some treats can get them started. Once they catch on, they’ll be zooming on it in no time. It’s definitely worth the effort—and your cat deserves it! 10/10 would recommend.

.... this is a great cat wheel that I would recommend it comes well packed with parts protected and separated with very clear instructions on assembly which is quick and easy. It's well balanced on quiet wheels and turns easily. Lighter than wood models. Has pads on bottom to help with grip and protect floor. Affordable and ships quick !!
