Great Value for the Price
First off, I do have one minor issue with this light: the UI. I have a small collection of flashlights with at least four other WUBEN lights, and I'm not sure why they decided to change their usual UI with this one. One of my favorite features of my other WUBEN lights is the immediate access to Turbo mode. That was removed here. The flashlight has to be turned on first before holding the button will activate Turbo mode. On top of that, the brightness cycling is not linear. First it cycles brightness up, then it cycles down. Everything still works correctly, it just takes a lot more clicks to get back to where you were if you accidentally go too far (plus you don't know if the next step will be up or down unless you remember). Aside from that, the WUBEN L3 exceeded expectations. One of my necessities in a flashlight like this is for it to tail-stand. This one passes the test. More importantly, for a flashlight in this price range, the brightness is crazy. Whether you're walking at night, checking the backyard, or just keeping it in your car for emergencies, this thing will definitely be bright enough. The beam is powerful, focused, and has great throw. For the price, you're getting performance that competes with flashlights twice its cost. It feels sturdy and well-built, like I expect from WUBEN. The battery life is solid too, even on higher brightness settings. Overall, if you want a reliable, incredibly bright flashlight without breaking the bank, this is a great choice. Highly recommend.

Unreliable and faulty
Update 7/22/25 - second replacement has tail cap switch issues. When cycling through the modes, the mode will get stuck and only way to turn off light is unscrewing back end. This light is pure junk. DO NOT BUY. This is my second L3, I had to replace the first one for several reasons. The first one had several issues that were not acceptable. The first reason was because the emitter produced a donut hole effect that was very noticeable. The other reason was when I removed the pocket clip, it took some of the paint off, and I didn’t even twist or do anything to the clip, I just pulled it straight off. Now I know it’s a tool first and foremost, but for a light that says it’s tough I don’t think the paint should do that right off the bat. As for the function, the light produces very good light. The size is a beast but the actual milling of the aluminum is great. It does heat up on the strongest setting but that is to be expected. Power bank is a great function and works great. The power of the modes is great. I like the tone of the light and throw is amazing. So overall, it’s a great light, but there seems to be bugs to work out.

Impressive price of flashlight art !
My wife says I'm a flashlight nut. Not because I have 20 or 30 flashlights, it's because I have diving lights but don't know how to swim. It because it has 7 lighting modes one of which is an SOS mode. Useful on a sinking ship? Maybe but I don't know anyone who knows that an SOS signal is. I am super impressed with the fit and finish, it's literally flawless. It is a piece of flashlight art. I keep picking it up just to marvel at its design. Even the white lettering on the body is impeccable. Its's really a beautiful flashlight (if you think flashlights can be beautiful) I think the most impressive feature is the protected charging port. It has to be far more waterproof than a rubber plug. This design is genius. I also like its ability to tail stand. a useful feature when using it as a work light. The pocket clip is industrial size. I don't think this is a pants pocket size or weight flashlight, but the clip is strong enough to hold it to a backpack or tool bag without worrying about it falling off. However it certainly will fit in any jacket pocket Because of its 3000-lumen output it eliminates the need for anything larger for 99% of what you might need a flashlight for. For all round usefulness this flashlight will be hard to beat. This thing is really built like a tank; it just feels that way when you first pick it up. I'm not saying you could hammer nails with it, but you certainly could beat off a bad guy with a few bashes to the head. I haven't had a lot of time to use it at night. but from my preliminary use it does case a nice beam a great distance. It can easily light up all the houses on my block from top to bottom (sorry neighbors). I don't see any negatives on this flashlight, but I would like to make a few suggestions. A slightly crenelated bezel so if you accidently put the flashlight face down you could easily see if you left it on. The rubber tail cap switch seems a bit thin compared to other flashlights I own. And finally, the lanyard could be a bit beefier for such a brute of a flashlight. In summary, I have no regrets. It is beautiful flashlight, well made, super sturdy and will make your flashlight friends jealous and leave your wife shaking her head as to why you needed another flashlight. I think the green color is lovely a nice change of pace from traditional black.

Feels Like a Cigar, Hits Like a Freight Train
This Wuben L3 has quickly become my favorite everyday carry flashlight. The first thing you notice is the incredible build quality. It has a solid, satisfying weight in the hand that just screams durability. Holding it feels premium, almost like holding a fine cigar – which, by the way, makes you feel a bit like Arnold Schwarzenegger preparing to take on the Predator. It's just got that tough, ready-for-anything vibe. The battery life is absolutely phenomenal. I've used it for days on and off without even thinking about reaching for the charger. When I do, the USB-C charging is quick and convenient. The tail click switch is another highlight. It's incredibly robust and has a solid, tactile "click" that gives you confidence it won't fail. There's a slight learning curve to mastering the different modes quickly, but once you get the hang of it after a day or so, it becomes second nature. However, the absolute killer feature for me is its ability to double as a power bank. I was shocked to see it charges my phone at 18W. That's not just a gimmick; it's genuinely useful and almost as fast as some of my dedicated high-end battery banks. It has saved me more than once when I've been caught with a low phone battery. If you're looking for a tough, long-lasting flashlight that can also save your phone in a pinch, look no further. This thing is a beast.

Didn’t even make it a year.
I bought this flashlight in July 2025 and I was initially impressed with its brightness, ease of use and charging speed. Come January 2026, I went to use it and it would not turn on and no longer holds charge. I would not recommend this flashlight.

L3 Stands UP
I have become quite the fan of Wuben over the years and love when they release new lights. I'm going to start with my only dislike; it's minor, but I wanted to mention it. The UI for the light is not my favorite out there. I love customization, so Anduril has been a go-to for me. There is nothing wrong with this UI; it's just a personal preference. It's simple, so once you know it, you know it, and I guess that's the smarter move when trying to reach a wider demographic for your light. Wuben continues to have amazing customer service and delivers high-quality lights at a reasonable price. I have owned other Wuben lights for a few years now, and they're still going strong. This one packs a punch with the 21700 @4800 mAh (I'm a big fan of the batteries they supply with their lights). There is only one way to turn it on, and that's the tail switch, and I know that may be a deal breaker to some, but this switch is smooth and sensitive and will not leave your thumb or finger of choice feeling the fatigue. It also has raised edges to help with accidental presses, and when it's in memory mode, it needs to be held down in order for the light to operate. Let's just say I own a "high-end" light that's not from Wuben, and I can't stand the tail switch on it. Wuben definitely put some time into the design here. The dual USB is also a nice touch I like seeing added here. I will most likely never use it, but if I needed it, it's there, and I always have an extra cable with me or in my kit in the first place, so if the power banks I usually take along lost their juice, then I know I can get a decent charge from L3. For me personally, this is a well-rounded light because, yes, it can throw a beam, but it's also not a tight beam, so there is some spill to it. It's almost right in the middle of a flooder/thrower, leaning towards more spill, which provides enough of both to serve in multiple situations. If you need a reliable EDC light that packs a punch and can withstand just about anything you put it through, then check this one out. Also, if you like great customer service. Wuben has always done right by me, and that encourages me to use their products.

Blinded By The Light
I've used Wuben's L50 for years. Ive depended on them at home, on the road during SAR, storm relief, off-road trips, etc. I don't believe you will find a better light. This comes close. I like the design, specifically the metal charging port cover. The two stage button feels a little flimsy underneath the rubber cover. Brightness is definitely there but the beam doesn't seem to have a clean of a throw as the L50. I can't really put my finger on it. The light is a little warmer and greener tint as well. I'm not a huge fan. I feel that even with the brightness, the lack of true clean white light like the L50 hinders use slightly in outdoor environments. I'll keep sticking with the L50 for EDC but this light will definitely stay nearby when a small, higher output is needed.

Outstanding edc light
The wuben L3 is a sleeper 5 star light! I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, but was pleasantly surprised by it's output and functionality. It has a dual stage tailswitch that let's you half press for momentary mode to the remembered last light level. A full press turns on the light. Each consecutive half press runs through the levels. Low, med, hi, and turbo. Then back down through the modes from turbo to low, then back up again. While the light is on, a half press and hold gives you turbo until you release again which brings you back to the level you started with. A double half click while on brings up the strobe function. Full click turns off the light. It is very intuitive and easy to master this interface. There is a fairly deep carry pocket clip attached and the light comes nicely packaged with instructions, the battery installed with a protective cover over the negative end for shipping purposes, a lanyard, and some spare o-rings. This L3 comes with everything you need. There is also a hidden C charge port beneath a screw off ring near the head and a charging indicator LED. The build quality is superb and the light feels great in hand. Mine came in perfect working order and the output is phenomenal. The beam pattern is a nice throwy style that will reach out to 200+ meters, and the tint of the 3000 lumens is pretty good. All in all, I highly recommended this flashlight as an every day carry pocketable stud! If you are looking for a great flashlight for everyday use at a very reasonable price... the Wuber L3 is an excellent choice.
