First results are superior so so easy. Machine works flawlessly
First loaf- honey wheat, so easy. This machine is great - not noisy easy to clean - makes it so easy for great tasting bread - hamburger buns are a totally different world Recipe book and user manual leave a lot to be desired but the product far surpasses this short coming.

GREAT bread maker!!!
I am so impressed by this little machine! I have had a few bread machines over the years and this one out-performs my $400+ one (that died, and this one replaced.) I have made many loaves and other recipes in the last month or so and have been very pleased at the taste, texture, consistency, quality. It also looks really nice. (no one wants an ugly machine out on the counter while using it.) 2 minor complaints... how to cancel a bread program once it starts, and the recipe booklet could use a little help to make it more user-friendly, but once you figure out what they are saying, its fine. Otherwise, it is very easy to use.

Still an All-around Winner
3-month Update I had a problem with the pan coating. I wondered if it was because of making yogurt with the machine (it didn’t pock until after I started making yogurt). I reached out to customer service, and they offered to send me a new pan immediately. My machine’s pan was out of stock, so they were sending a different model with my approval. I’m disappointed that the ceramic coating failed, but I’m very pleased with customer care. I will update once I use the new pan. This bread machine was worth every penny. I struggled to stay on top of making my sourdough, and now all I need to do is feed and activate my starter, and the machine takes care of the rest. Banana nut bread came out fantastic as well. It took a few tries for me to figure out how to use just the bake setting, but I think I kept getting in a hurry. I’ve had success with the dough setting, and I’m about to try the yogurt setting. So far no complaints. I’ve not tried the nut dispenser yet. I’m super happy with the lining of the pan - the bread slides out nicely, even when I leave the mixer paddle in it (but I do butter the mixer). I don’t use the provided mitt because I had my own that I liked, so I can’t speak to how well it insulates (other reviewers complained). The black looks good next to my other appliances, and it fits nicely on my counter, not taking up as much space as my old one that died. I highly recommend.

Love the smell
Don't you just love the smell of freshly baked bread? I've only made two of the basic bread loaf. Both times, when I turned over the pan, the bread comes out with no resistance. The paddle stayed in the pan so I didn't have to fish it out of the bread. I couldn't get the paddle off to clean & after I read the reviews, I saw the suggestion about filling the pan with hot water & letting that sit a bit. After dumping the water, I grasp the underside where the post connects & pulled & wiggled the paddle & it came off. Quite a few people are having this issue & this tip should be included in the machine's manual. So, the bread rose & baked perfectly. I read & reread the manual at least 4 times, cause I thought I was missing something. Nowhere in the manual, does it say you need to install the nut dispenser or that you can leave it off. I left it off and when there was 2 hrs and 43 minutes left on the machine, it was the 2nd knead step when it beeped & there was a pretty loud tapping sound. Of course, it scared me cause I thought something was wrong, but evidently, nothing was wrong. I sent an email to the email addy that was at the top of each page of the manual to see if there was something wrong with my machine. He wrote back & took it upon himself, to tell me all the times the machine would beep(I already knew this from my multiple readings). He said it was making the tapping cause it was the dispenser rubbing against the machine when it was releasing the nuts into the dough. I had told him in my email, that I hadn't attached the dispenser. I also asked him about the recipes that came with the machine, in particular, English muffins and the swirl bread. The English muffin recipe, he said to make the shape of the muffins...that's it. Y'all know Enlish muffins are round & you know the size of the pan. There's no way all those muffins are going to fit in there. And the swirl bread, he said to take the dough out & knead it, add the swirl ingredients, shape it and put it back in the machine. That was his answer. There's quite a few other recipes, that there's no way they can be made just using the machine. The recipes in question, I think, can be mixed, kneaded, fermented in the machine, then other steps need to be taken. The breads, muffins & cakes in question, need to be shaped, put the dough into the appropriate pan & baked in a standard oven. None of those steps are in the recipe booklet. He thinks everyone should just follow what's written in the recipe booklet & put it back in the machine's pan. Those are the reasons why I gave it 4 stars. I've sent another email cause I feel these things need to be addressed and corrected cause I'm no professional baker but I do know a few things and my concern is for anyone who is new to baking. I'd hate to see them buy and use the ingredients to make the recipes and then they're ruined. I also wanted to mention, keep an eye on your machine because mine started moving itself & almost went off the side of my countertop. I had a couple pieces of rubbery type shelf liner & I put that under the front feet & this kept the machine from moving. *UPDATE* John does reply promptly, I'll give him that but he's not addressing the issues about the recipe booklet. The recipes don't go step-by-step like a normal recipe is written & the look of the corresponding pics with each recipe, aren't going to be achieved using the machine's pan. My suggesting to him, to make this machine really sell so that it wouldn't be getting dings for the horrible recipe booklet is...to either correct the booklet or just omit it cause people who don't normally bake, are going to be wasting alot of money on ingredients and are going to have to purchase a bread machine recipe book

As long as you buy a suitable transformer, it works great. It’s a pain having a transformer though attached to it. Really, it should not be sold for the UK market. Having said that it is a very high-quality bread maker - the best I have come across.
