This milk steamer and frother is fun to use, and the results are enjoyable. It works with almond milk as well. The foam produced (see my pictures) could be even stiff if you so desired. It's more capable than the handheld kind of frothers and you save the hassle of heating up the milk in a different cup. It's cordless with a base, like cordless electric water kettles but smaller, so it's easy to clean. The foam cleaner included in the package is handy for cleaning the interior.There is no specification what kind of non-stick coating it is, and whether the plastic-looking lid is BPA free, so I just use the frother without the lid, which took about 2 minutes 50 seconds for 10oz of almond milk to heat up and have very fine foam. With the lid it would probably have taken a shorter time. For home use, it's adequate and, again, enjoyable, as much as having a cup of latte from a coffee shop at a fraction of the cost.

Works well and holds enough milk at one time for two large coffees. Takes about 4 minutes to heat up to 140 degrees from refrigerator cold. Easy to clean and no issues at all. Highly recommend!

This made such beautiful, thick hot frothed milk for a cafe au laut- it was so thick I had to use a spoon to get it out of the frother. The frother is compact and easy to use. It has settings for foam without heat, for heat without foam, for light foam with heat, and thick heavy foam with heat. It's about the size of a traveling coffee mug, with a lid, and it fits on a small disk to connect to the heating elements. I haven't yet used all the settings, but was extremely pleased with the cup of tea with milk froth that I made. It's a non-stick coating which is not identified, so I'm assuming it's the typical unhealthy coating, which must be carefully maintained with scratch free tools. I would have preferred it without non-stick coating, or at least, with a non-stick coating that is safer and identified as such, hence, the subtraction of one star.
