Can easily feed 4+ people
Fantastic rice cooker! The first cook had a burnt plastic smell, but was just fine after that initial cook. This is not as small of a rice cooker as others might lead you to suspect. It is easily large enough to feed a family of four (and some guests too!). It is super easy to use and is able to adjust itself based on the weight of the components within. While it tells you not to do a half cup of dry rice (a single portion) it cooks it perfectly well in about 15 mins. For four people, it cooks in about 25-30 mins. Highly recommend. Fantastic Japanese brand that knows what it’s doing.

Amazing - Simple, Easy, Consistent Quality
This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. It's incredibly easy to use and the rice comes out tasting great. The measuring cup makes it simple to gauge the amount of rice. I put some salt and oil in with it, and a bay leaf. It takes like 30 seconds to put it all in - then I can leave it for an hour and when I come back, the rice is ready to eat. The rice comes out easily using the provided spoon/spatula thing. It's honestly amazing how simple it is to cook.

Love, love, LOVE this rice cooker!
I absolutely LOVE this rice cooker! I needed a new rice cooker for under $100, and this delivered beyond my expectations. It cooks rice so well and is so easy to clean (so long as you follow the cleaning instructions). I use sushi rice, and it comes out so fluffy and moist! It takes 30-40 minutes, which is better than other rice cookers that can take 1 hour. This rice cooker also keeps the rice warm for a good period of time. You’re not supposed to keep it warm for more than a day, but I kept it for 3 days, and it was STILL good. The synchro-cooking feature is also my favourite as well as the accompanying cookbook. I love that they give you a cookbook! It’s so convenient, being able to cook rice and a meal at the same time. I also got to learn how to make Japanese dishes with this feature, and it was so much fun! They require minimal ingredients, so they were very easy and simple to make. The cookbook is limited, but it was a nice doorway to Japanese cuisine. This rice cooker makes great quality rice, warms rice for up to 3 days, is so easy to clean, has an awesome synchro-cooking feature & cookbook that teaches you how to make Japanese dishes, AND it’s all for $75. It’s so versatile, and I love the handle it has that helps me move it across the kitchen. This is the best rice cooker I’ve ever owned.

steamer and rice cooker work well, easy to use, good value.
Steamer works very well. The first day, we cooked white rice and steamed purple carrots. Carrots stayed purple and rice stayed white. Brown rice takes a long time, so plan ahead. We cooked a bit of brown rice and it took about 45 minutes. It cooked it very well, but you can't be in a rush. The pan and steamer both clean up very easily. We clean them both by hand. The lid doesn't come off, so cleaning that is a bit of a pain. Our old rice cooker (which died, hence this replacement), had a regular lid that was easy to clean. This one, I have to wipe off the lid and rinse it off, and it's awkward since I can't just run the lid under the sink, since it's part of the cooker. Anyway, that aside, I like this very much. It takes up more kitchen counter real estate than our old rice cooker, but I knew that when I ordered it. For our family of 4, the size of this rice cooker is great. It makes more than enough for us and could easily make enough rice for 8 to 10 people. I don't use the measuring cup, but my Lola's finger-measuring method, and the rice comes out very nicely cooked, not too dry and not too wet. One thing - relatively minor - when you press the button to open the lid, the lid snaps up quickly. So, it seems best to have your other hand available to slow down the lid as it swings up. I could see the snapping lid being a weak link and eventually breaking if it snaps up too many times. If you want a very good rice cooker that has a few more bells and whistles than the average rice cooker (steamer, slow cooker, etc.), and is reasonably priced, this one should be on your list.

YES a rice cooker is worth it
I managed to find one on here for $50 due to damaged packaging but honestly I would've paid full price if I had known how good rice can taste. I eat a lot of rice but i've been using my pressure cooker to cook it and before that I just used the stovetop and neither has ever tasted as fluffy, soft, or smooth as the rice I just had. It was also incredibly quick. In the picture i'm using Jasmine rice and had already taken some out for my lunch, 2 cups were ready in just about 20 minutes. My pressure cooker took 30 mins alone to get to the right pressure then about another 15 minutes to actually cook and it always stuck to the bottom of the bowl and would be crunchy in some areas despite using exact measurements for water/rice ratio that was written on a little sheet that came with the product. This rice cooker was super easy to clean and works immediately when you press the button, no rice stuck to the bowl! So yeah, if you eat a lot of rice, a rice cooker is definitely worth it, they really perfected the technology over at Tiger.
