Great Goalie Stick!
My daughter plays goalie for her LAX team. She swears by this stick. The stock itself has great weight / grip. The head comes prestrung and ready for use. Although that’s a nice feature, it takes a while to break in the pocket. We have purchased her 2 of these. The first one we had restrung after the first year of use. The second one, we had restrung as soon as we got it. Simply because she didn’t want to have to take as long to break it in. She still uses both of them and won’t use a different one. Highly recommend!

More than just a lacrosse stick!!!
While this probably makes a great lacrosse goalie stick, it is by far the greatest trash pick up tool for removing litter from Rivers and Lakes. Utilizing two of these sticks we have removed more than 10 bags of trash from Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga River in the first few days.

After restringing it's not bad - but it could use a lot more sidewall holes.
Bought my son an eclipse 2 and this one, and the eclipse 2 is what most of the college players use. It has twice the sidewall holes for stringing and it's supposed to be better at ground pickups so that became his primary stick. That said, he's only 12 so I didn't feel like the eclipse 2 was cheap enough to buy a second one for a backup so we kept this one. To start this is the "Shield 100" NOT the "Shield" and is definitely an entry level head. That said though, after restringing the eclipse 2, I had a good model for how I wanted the stringing to be on this. I strung the top row 1 diamond per hole and then the first 4 sidewall holes also one diamond per hole. After that, I had to do roughly two diamonds floating on the string per hole. I now feel like it's decent and use it myself to help him warm up

Perfect
Bought this for my granddaughter, and she says it's perfect. So I guess it must be...

Good for youth play
Good stick for youth play under 12U. Not the best for long breakout throws but does the job for goal defense

Not Worth It…
A two may be a little high for this review. I guess a positive would be that it came pretty quick. My daughter is 11, but plays on a 14u team. First day she used it for practice, there was already a hole in her net. Luckily, an experienced coach fixed that up for her. The next week, she used this same stick in a tournament and the head fell off during it!! Screw came right out when she went to clear!! Some else then fixed it again. But we’ve had it fall apart again. I wouldn’t buy this same stick again.
