These allowed me to use a spider type lampshade on my lamp. Never knew they existed

LIKED: instant gratification from not having to buy a harp, although I suppose there may be times when a special sized harp may be required. Cost per lamp is less than the least expensive harp.DIDN'T LIKE: the plastic wrapped around the wire designed to help secure the lampshade to the bulb came loose on one side when attaching the shade to a normal sized lightbulb. However, in five seconds, I'd removed the shade, re-wrapped the wire, and reattached the shade to the bulb. This would not/not prevent me from buying more in the future. So far have bought two two-packs and will buy more if the need arises.

I needed to refit a lamp because the newer bulbs are wider. This clamp works very well.

I had no idea such a thing existed! I have an old floor lamp that was missing the glass piece and I could not find a replacement. I needed a clip on lamp shade instead, but I couldn’t find those either (not locally anyway). Searching on Amazon for clip on shades, I found this! It has the silicone grippers which I think help to keep it in place. I gets a 4 on sturdiness because the silicone pieces come off easily so you have to be gentle and patient when placing it over the lightbulb. Anyway, long story short, these work, I couldn’t be happier and I get to use my lampshade with the finial!

Used it for a lamp shade I wanted to keep on a used lamp with no harp. The lamp shade had a large black plastic ring the size of a light bulb inside the shade that the top of the adapter could go through.To keep it from falling back down, and I inserted a metal notebook paper ring between the lampshade ring and the inside top of adapter. It does not show and it is holding in place and is flexible to remove. I have not been able to find adapters like this except on really small lamp shades and years ago at a craft show. The liners on the wires protect the lightbulb and that is nice. Objectively, this lamp shade sits a bit higher on this base, but I am happy to keep the shade and much less fuss to work with this in future than a lamp kit.
