It's my first time with this. Could it be used for 1 #10 and 3 #16?

I use it to connect 3 12 GA wires, it’s a tight fit but works good.

I do 3 #14 all the time. You can fit 4 if your careful. So 2 #12 shouldn’t be a problem.

Yes, these work well with landscape lighting also. Just be sure you are using wire between the 10-18AWG size range. These connectors are UL listed and rated for up to 600volts.
