Calvin Klein Men's Car Coat with Front-Zip Bib

PROS:Crisp lines, sharp color, stylishly slim -yet extremely comfortable- fit, 4 easily accessible and deep pockets (2 outer, and 2 inner, left & right breast) bib/liner zips up past chin, that plus coat itself creates a dual front layer (bib zips, and coat zips + snaps closed). Not heavy, thick, or bulky.CONS:Firstly, lengthwise, the cost comes to below the groin area, maybe mid-thigh (perhaps a tad lower for me, I’m a short guy 5’7”) so when it is fully closed it’s snug at that point. Which makes bending at waist level nigh improbable (for example, to pick up dog poo I’d have to unsnap/unzip the outer coat to bend, or hike the coat up past mid thigh) or say, sitting on a bench watching your wife/husband/partner ice skate. Secondly, the interior lining isn’t super thick or warm, therefore this is not the coat you’d go skiing in, yet for standing and watching the Macy’s parade, or walking through a metropolis after dinner/and a movie, or strolling along the avenue/park with your dog, this coat is perfect.CONCLUSION:This is a fabulous coat. Extremely comfortable in -or out- of the car. It can go with both a suit and brogues, or jeans, a sweater and boots, and instantly sparks up the look of both. Classic, and clean styling, yet modern and tailored-looking slim, without being pretentious or overbearing. With some of the reviews I was skeptical, namely per the awkwardness of not being able to bend at the waist easily in this coat, yet this coat is designed specifically to walk in, or be out and about in, and be absolutely comfortable, and eye-catching while doing so. I’d definitely purchase this coat again without a second thought (as a matter of fact, doing so now...)

I like this coat. The standing collar (and removable insert) eliminates the need for a scarf around my neck, and the buttonless front gives a smooth look. Sizing was perfect.I have two complaints. The fabric connecting the main zipper seems to be wearing at the bottom, where you hook the two sides together, and may need to be fixed relatively soon.There is also a noticable blue color. When I first received it, I thought I had just been to quick to order and overlooked the color being "midnight blue," since the tag on the coat did say midnight. Seeing it in my order history, and seeing that it is described as "midnight black," I felt the need to point this out. I'm not always the best at black and blue, particularly for dark colors, but I have compared this to things I know are black and can see a clear difference.Overall, I'm very happy with it.

I bought this coat for my husband. It was true to size and fit perfectly. The coat can be worn for dressy attire and with jeans. My husband especially loved the bib and front zipper for a cozy look. Needless to say he loved everything about it!

I like the coat. Fits well, feels good. The zip out sweater lining makes the coat very versatile. I teach high school, and have received compliments from on the jacket from students and faculty.

I like the coat a lot. It's comfortable. My only complaint is while driving in the car, you can't use the long zipper because it will place too much strain on it, causing an eventual ripped or damaged the zipper. The long zipper should have been reversible. No issues while walking around town. I'd buy the coat again if it had a reversible zipper

This Coat is fantastic, it is even better than we thought it would. It is very sharp looking on my 87yr. old husband who looks like he' 67.Also makes him feel good. He's very Happy.It is very warm & comfortable. He loves it.The only thing with is NOT a negative is he had to have the sleeves shorten. But I think almost everyone needs some kind of adjustment one way or another.Would recommend this coat to every guy out there.Thanks Amazon, Mary Lou

The coat fits reasonably good, except when you zip the bib and the coat all the way up because it creates a super tight collar that restricts any head motion, which you need driving a car in your "car coat". This tight collar definitely protects you from the elements, so this is more walking than car coat. When the collar is partially unzipped it creates bulky contraption that ressists to stay put.

We loved the look but it’s too large. We bought the medium and it was more like a large. We returned it and got the small which fits perfectly.

Great coat. Very warm. Survived my canadian winter. The collar is a bit tight if you zip it up, but it looks good so its not an issue. I wished the zipper for the inner addon had a latch at the bottom to keep it from creeping up. I'd love it if it were a bit more adjusted at the waist, this fits kind of baggy unfortunately.

It is a really nice coat. I find the fit a bit small, being snug in the arms and around the back; maybe it's supposed to be more of a slim cut and maybe I'm not as slim as I used to be. This is a small and I know that a medium would be more roomy but the sleeve length would be too long. Looks to be made very well, with quality zippers.

C$115. I am 6'5" and it fit well. The sleeves are barely long enough though and I might get them altered to fit a bit more to my liking. Otherwise I'm happy with my purchase.

My husband absolutely loves it! I originally ordered a size Large, which is normally his regular size, but it was waaayyy too big! The size medium fits him like a glove! It’s nice and classy and warm, but keep in mind it is has a bigger fit!

I purchased this coat as a gift & my husband loved it. Great quality & style.
