The media could not be loaded. Pretty easy to understand how to use it right out of the box we used our favorite glass jars of Frappuccino's. I ended up putting three of them in and turning it on the frappe setting. I probably could've fit a fourth bottle in but since the spiral pushes all the liquid to the front, it was over the max while it was spinning, so I'll have to test out if it does as well with a fourth serving in there there is a beeping signal to tell you when it's done. I tried to increase the coldness while it was working. You do need to pour the stuff out with the machine still running or else it doesn't come out. It's pretty easy to wipe down and rinse off. I am a little afraid to take the catch basin off to rinse it because it clicks in and it didn't feel very sturdy. I don't want to break the little plastic prongs that hold it in place I was a little disappointed with the silver handle it's plastic. It feels chintzy and cheap and on a machine at this price, it could've been better. You can see in my video that it bounces up and down while running I'm not sure if that's supposed to happen or not but I'm gonna take one star away because of the cheap plastic catch tray and dispenser handle. It also was a little bit hard to get the liquids out from in between the rubber gaskets on the dispenser. I had to put water in it and shake it around. It says it requires a certain content of sugar in the liquid to work so if you have issues concerning health and consuming sugar, this might be a dealbreaker.

That’s why, when I saw this slushie machine, I had to try it.The machine arrives carefully packed in a box, fully assembled. Once I took it out, I started reading the manual and it said it has to sit for a couple hours before the first use because there’s coolant inside. So while it was settling, I washed all the pieces (there are only three!) and grabbed a two liter of cola.I haven’t owned a machine like this before, but it feels like a commercial machine. This isn’t one of those cheap ones with a bunch of plastic parts. It’s metal and thick plastic (for the container). In short, you select one of six modes (slush, spiked slush, frappe, frozen juice, milk shake, or just cold), pour in the ingredients (in this case a two liter cola), and wait. Because I filled it so full, it took about an hour to make the slushie and I probably could have given it another 15 minutes, but I was impatient.It tastes just like the cola slushes at the gas stations or theater! I love it! We poured FIVE tall glasses of them from the two liter and everyone enjoyed. I can’t wait to try more recipes.Perhaps the best part though is the clean up. You can put it on rinse mode to get it to self-clean a bit, but I found it easier to just pop off the container, take out the spinner, and wash both in warm water by hand. Takes all of two minutes.This is a win-win any way I look at it. Highly recommended!
