I have an ATV4k and my remote unfortunately fell one too many times and cracked the glass trackpad our the tile floor. I should've bought this thing after the first time. I've since had to buy a new remote because it became unusable and dangerous w/ the glass shards. This cover is cushy, well padded, doesn't smell, and fit perfectly. I had hesitated from these before because I was afraid it was going to mess up using the trackpad. So far no issues and it lets me easily click the sides as well to FF or RW. Great deal.

I love the bright colored ones, because it does make it easier to find the remote now. The only downfall is that they’re silicone, which can get a little dirty sometimes. Otherwise, love them 🙃

Bought this one and the newer one go the upgraded Apple TV. Saved it from toddler tosses

It is basically essential to have a protective case for the modern Apple TV remote (the thin black version with the touch sensitive area, and silver back). This is especially the case if you have small children around or if you home is less than perfectly tidy.This remote case (a two pack with black and bright blue cases) does a great job on three fronts. First, the grippy, textured rubber makes the remote easier to hold. Without a case the remote is a slippery little sucker.Second, by adding this case, it is much easier to tell the top of the remote from the bottom - correcting a huge design flaw in the remote, much as I love Apple products. Without a case it is hard to know, without looking, which end of the remote is which.Finally the case offers good protection in the event of a drop or a knock. I should also mention that the case makes the remote much harder to lose down the sofa or anywhere else, by adding a bit of weight and shape to a thin, slippery piece of metal. The bright blue case is a good choice if you are worried about losing the remote (and paying £60 for the pleasure of replacing it!). Having two cases in the pack, in different colours, makes the overall package very good value.

The Apple TV remote has many good and many points. One of the negatives is its diminutive size, another being its smooth finish which means its slips off of the arm of the chair easily, and also no matter which way around you pick it up you'll always be pointing it in the wrong direction.The addition of one of these silicone sleeves, very reminiscent to the ones you used to put your Nintendo Wii-motes into, helps with those negatives. The silicone adds a grippy surface to the remote, and it's much less likely to slide off the arm of the chair onto the floor, or lost underneath the cushion somewhere. It's makes the remote a chunkier, easier to hold proposition, and it also promotes you into picking it up the right way around. It's a silly little detail, but it's one that does make you less likely to tut loudly.Lastly, it adds a level of protection to the Apple TV's remote for those times when you do drop it or the dog sits on it.For a relatively inexpensive outlay, I can certainly recommend this protective cover if you have a late generation Apple TV remote.

The Apple tv remote is so slippery and constantly we would lose it down the side of our sofa or worried the glass would shatter if its dropped. This case provides a much needed grip to the remote. The remote almost slow motionally slides down the side of the arm giving you plenty of time to catch before it falls down the side. There is also a lip around the edge so that if it does drop then it is protected on each corner. Great find.

Brilliant idea. The Apple remote is terrible.It's smooth so flies off surfaces, it's symmetrical so you never know which side is up in the dark. These cases solve all that, they stick to any surface and you can easily see of feel which way is up.Cut outs for the emitter, charging and a lanyard if required. Well worth it and Apple should include as standard they're that good!Highly recommended

Absolutely brilliant little protection cover. I have fitted the black one as I feel it looks better but I may be a little boring.The price is very low they are almost giving it away.Is it very easy to install takes seconds. You do not need to remove it for charging.It adds grip, protection and style what more could you ask for.Highly recommended from me.
