SQlab 411 Bicycle Innerbarends - Black - 1996

I don't tend to leave reviews but these have been so good i had to.I have a Hoy Shizuoka (hybrid) with road tyres and have struggled with any longer rides with numb fingers.Since putting these on i've been out for 20 milers, 1hr+ rides without any of these aches and pains, literally has completely changed the level of comfort on my rides.I'm even able to access the brakes and change gears without moving from the innerbarends to the flat part of the bar - although this could be because of my bike's gear lever configuration.It is as close as you'll get to riding the hoods whilst on a flat bar and makes my cycling a lot more enjoyable as a result.If i could give them more than 5 stars i honestly would - if you have flat bars and are looking for better, more comfortable grip positions then these really are essential.

I added these onto a flatbar gravel bike and I end up using them more than the flat bars themselves.Really close to the sensation of hoods, they are comfy, reduce wrist ache and make you a more aerodynamic.They feel great to ride with and now make the bike feel more suited to the road when used.They are small so you can only get your thumb and two fingers around them but this doesnt stop them from being ergonomically perfect, at least for me. They are great.

Ordered to give my flat bar road bike a different hand position.Im a nervous cyclist and wondered if i would get on with them, but i shouldnt have worried. They are really comfy and ive fitted at the inner side of the bar grips. Makes a massive difference to your arms/shoulders/wrists/hands when riding long flat sections.Very impressed!

I'm 6'3" with 9.5cm across palm of my hand and I find them way too slim, it's like riding without handlebar grips. 3 layers of bar tape made it perfect girth, but now they are tad too short.Straight out of the box they fit perfetly my fiance hands, 6.5 cm across the palm.

More of a thumb grip but comfortable in long straight sections when on a mountain bike. I also seem to go faster but the aerodynamic effects could be a placebo

These are so much more comfortable than I imagined they would be.Brakes and gear shifters are easily accessed.Yes, they may be more expensive than regular bar ends, but that gets quickly forgotten once you use them.(Ignore the tape in the pic, I was using that to line everything up easily, after shortening the bars)

fit for brompton and does not interfere when folding

I bought these as I like the idea but unfortunately they are too small and my hand overlaps the top. I got my wife to try them also and they were too small for her also. They would be ok for a small adult or a child. Back to the drawing board!
