My Favorite Pen
So not only is this pen fantastic, smooth writing, and very beautiful...but I had an issue with mine in the beginning being a bit choppy in writing and customer support was phenomenal! Not only did they send me a new nib that solved my issue, but they gave me an extra even nicer one. Great product, great company. This pen is my Bible study companion.

Classy, beautiful, very well made, great price point given its superb quality
I have four Xezo pens including this one, and each one has made me more of a fan. These are excellent pens, clearly handcrafted with care and attending to every detail. They are made according to clear aesthetic principles, and are excellent writers as well. I wish they would offer more nib selection (stub or cursive italic nibs would be a wonderful addition) and that they would offer models with options other than the standard cartridge/converter, for example a piston filler. But none of this detracts from the fact that if you buy a pen such as the Phantom you will acquire a fine, gorgeous writing instrument at a very reasonable price. The price/value ratio can hardly be beat.

beautiful and high quality fp
it's gorgeous and heavy. The grip section is so comfortable to hold, the fine nib writes smoothly and just a little feedback. the size is similar to Platinum 3776. This Xezo is heavier than the Sheaffer prelude that I have.

Beautiful, High Quality Fountain Pen
I have had excellent experiences with Xezo fountain pens, and I think that they are truly exceptional for pens in this price range. The quality of the pen body is very good, and the color is even more lovely than in the photos here. Most importantly is the excellent quality of the nib. I have four different Xezo pens, and I have always been happy with the attractive and high functioning nibs. This one is no exception. This has become one of my favorite pens.My only negative note for this pen is that the quality of the converter does not match the quality of the other components. I would suggest to the manufacturer that a better quality converter would make this pen (and the other Xezo pens) a great buy for any fountain pen collector.

Quite nice!
It will be my new "everyday carry." The picture is accurate and the pen has a nice, healthy weight to it. The cap feels just a touch too easily removed but I haven't had any trouble with it. Also, this pen has a seriously tight clip - so if you actually clip your pens into your shirt pockets or suits, it will likely be an issue for you. I think it's rather a nice writer and very smooth. It wrote directly out of the (nice) box.

I own #428
I am really impressed with this pen. Is it the absolute greatest writing instrument ever? Nah. Is it the best instrument most folks will have ever used? Certainly. Most importantly, the quality of the pen for the PRICE it commands is fantastic.I got this to keep in my briefcase. I do very little writing outside of an iPad Pencil on an iPad 12.9. However, on the rare moments when a REAL pen is called for, using REAL paper (I'm a psychologist, so it happens)... I like to have something decent handy. So this guy has been hanging out in my briefcase. I find myself looking for him when I need to write anything, from a school note for a mini-patient, to a post-it note. It truly is a pleasure to write with.I will admit a bias to almost ANYTHING german made! I vacuum with a German vacuum cleaner; I drive a German vehicle; I keep time with a German clock in my home. I just really appreciate quality and attention to detail. And this pen really can hold its own in the quality department! As for looks, I think that's obvious enough. It's a lovely looking pen. I like the bluish one as well, but I'm a stickler for things that look more traditional and less contemporary. Whether the 10k gold plating will hold up, only time will tell. I'm skeptical, but again: price... fantastic.I had also never used Xezo's ink (speedmaster) before. It's been forever since I've used a Monte Blanc, and the last time I did, I have no idea if the ink was. But I'm plenty pleased with this ink. In fact, I'll probably reorder this same brand because they are off to a good start in earning some brand loyalty.Over all: for this price, it's a no brainer.-R.UPDATE: The area where the cap slightly overlaps the body of the pen has peeled off some. Before adding this comment, and docking my stars, I emailed the company. I did not get a reply. Still usable, and still my favorite pen. However, being ignored sucks. Changing from 5 stars to 3. Gold plating has held up, despite only being 10 karat.

Wow
Yep in a word "Wow". Nice feel, nice weight, nice balance a beautiful finish to boot. I consider myself a person who knows quality pens having owned quite a few over the year. This is a great pen that I highly recommend.
