I wanted a cost-effective tablet that was robust and effective for my work in tourism. I also needed a good processor and ample storage for my work. The HotLight Tablet has been a great purchase and ideal for my needs.

Nice size, very reactive and clear screen. The touch screen is extremely responsive and it is really fast. Charges quickly too. Bought two of these last year for 2 of my sons and bought another 2 for the other 2 sons this year as the quality is really good for the price. Theu use them for games, browsing the internet and watching movies and shows.

For just shy of £60, this 10.1 inch tablet performs well. It's quite a bit cheaper than Amazon's 8 inch Fire HD model which is excellent but does not annoyingly include access to the Play store and is a lot less than Amazon's 10 inch model. Good screen brightness and definition. Pretty good response times loading/playing Netflix and other programs. I can't comment on gaming. But I don't understand what the RAM spec expressed as "3gb + 5gb" means. The speed feels fractionally slower than the 8 inch Amazon fire with 3 GB ram, which may be linked with the touch screen response. Set up was ok using the Bluetooth link to my mobile phone, but despite not copying a lot of phone content, it took three hours. The textured back of the blandly named 10C tablet is useful in keeping a grip on the device. There is a micro SD card slot which I've not used and a plastic plectrum-like item for inserting the card. My biggest personal regret is the absence of a headphone port and the relatively low level of the stereo speaker sound. Listening via Bluetooth on ear buds is good, however, but not normally my fav way to listen. Battery life is much shorter than the 8 inch Fire. The spec sheet advises 5 hours and it's certainly no more. Charging speed with the included "C" USB lead and charger is modest.

This tablet from HotLight is an absolute bargain! You get everything you could possible need in a tablet at a budget price. I’m blown away by just how good it is. Set up was super easy and It’s running the latest android meaning you can download 1000s of apps like Netflix, Prime, Facebook, WhatsApp etc. It has a front and back camera giving great image quality plus facial recognition meaning you can unlock it just by looking at it which is very convenient. It has so many cool features I honestly don’t think you could find a better tablet for a better price. It’s sleek slim and stylish with a very responsive screen and a long battery life. Im really over the moon with my purchase and would 100% recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their current tablet.

Was very excited to order this tablet after reading all the positive reviews and the price point was very attractive. However, after recieving the tablet the first thing I noticed was how cheap and plasticy it felt. Not a good start but I wasn't expecting a premium tablet for the price but I wasn't expecting a £25 tablet from Ali Express either. On power on I noticed the screen has a horrible blue sheen that makes all the colours dull. The screen is the cheap resistive type, think old in car media screen. Have to keep tapping and not very accurate. After setting up with my google account and installing some non intensive apps the tablet became very laggy. Netflix was hard to watch even after downloading a film with the blue sheen and stuttering. On top of that battery life is terrible. I got just over 24 hours when not in use and have to charge multiple times if trying to use for browsing or emails. I ended up paying the same for a FireHD in prime week. The difference in quality is night and day.

For the money it's ok, but I'd say in all you could've had better paying a bit more or even a superb used levono etc the down points are not the best battery whatsoever, basically watch it go down just browsing Facebook,the light on the screen no matter what you do in the settings is pretty dull and the response for tapping screen is a little slow plus you tend to have to tap heavy for it to respond

Whilst it's low price would give you reason to believe this tablet isn't going to be that good, the HotLink Android 14 10" Tablet is surprisingly great! It has fast, responsive & smooth performance & is super easy to set up. The Android 14 operating system is a nice bonus, as is the capacity to be able to download all your favourite apps & being able to add extra space with a card expansion. You can easily watch videos on it too, as the 10" screen has ace picture quality (likewise with the 8MP rear camera!). Another surprising feature is it's battery life, which lasts me at least a day. The build of the tablet itself feels sturdy & well made, whilst still being lightweight, sleek & smart-looking. It has all the features you'd want from an Android tablet, whilst being a fraction of the price compared to some others. All in all, it is a powerful & unexpected little gem of a tablet with excellent value for money & I would highly recommend!
