This is a sturdy wire keycap puller on one end, and a key switch puller on the other. Both work great. I like this keycap puller over others because the wire "loop" is a bit bigger and bows out a bit so it fits nicely on the 2 sides of the keycaps. Others that have come included with keyboards or keycaps tend to be smaller and you just grab the 2 corners with those. And the plastic ones wear out and break (and can scratch paint). I'm keeping several of these on hand from now on. And, hey, the reason to get 2 is for easier removal of the oversized keys (spacebar, shifts, Enter, etc) by grabbing both sides with a puller on each.

Does the trick. I like the switch puller because the tongs on it aren't too deep. They are deep enough to allow you to push the tabs in, grasp the switch, and pull out. Some other switch pullers have very long tongs which will depress the tab too far and sometimes snap it off. I guess I prefer my WASD for keycap pulling because it's a little longer, but nothing wrong with this one really.

I got this for the switch puller utility, which is an absolute must-have for anyone removing /desoldering plate mounted switches. Turned out the cap puller is really nice too, because it is capable to fully surround the caps instead of just grab the corners like other cap pullers. Quality of the item is as-expected. These are exactly what I was expecting them to be, so I have no complaints. I used them while assembling a hotswap board, so I needed the switch part and not just the keycap part, and they worked great.

If you've ever pulled keys from a full keyboard you know it's an all day task. Fortunately these came 2 in a pkg. I've never done it before but it turned out to be relatively easy but time consuming. These tools will make the task really easy.

These are very flimsy and bend out of shape very easily. Avoid.
