Middle Schooler approved!
Birthday gift for 12 year old granddaughter, whose school no longer permits her Apple smart watch. She was thrilled! Middle school is difficult enough, and this allows her to keep track of the time without having to search for a wall clock! She was pleased with the sporty look, weight, and the band. It is a good quality watch, offering good value at a reasonable price.

Perfect Kids Watch in Elementary and Middle School
My youngest just started Middle School. He is a little one. The watch fits perfectly on his wrist on the first notch with another 9 notches to go. The watch is small and does not look like a monster rock on his wrist. I did not want to spend hundreds of dollars for a watch just for it to tell time while he switches between classes or to know when a class is almost over.It shows day of week, date, time with second, pm and alarm icon.It has one alarm and when it rings it is just loud enough to hear. I wish it had an option for another for a few alarms to set but it is not a show stopper. It has a stopwatch and you can set a second time when you are on vacation in another time zone. There is a button to turn on the light if you are in dark areas to luminate the display. So far after a month and half of use by my youngest, there is no damage or breakage with the wristband or watch unit itself. The most irritating thing is that I have to go online to download the manual. Including a quick start guide or printing the instructions on or inside the box would have been nice for initial setup.Remember it is water resistance and not water proof. That means do not dunk it in a bathtub full of water!

Perfect For 10 Year Old
My 10 year old son loves his new watch. It’s simple enough that it’s easy to use but has the alarm feature and stopwatch which he uses.

Takes a licking and keeps on ticking…well mostly.
We bought this watch as a trial for our 12 year old son. He plays soccer and is not exactly gentle on his stuff. The watch itself is great, no issues, he just needs to read the instruction manual, lol. The band however tore up pretty quickly coming unglued/unstitched and fraying. I have a Timex like this one that I bought over 25 years ago, used it like crazy, and it still works and looks great! Can’t beat it for the price.

No manual, can’t set it up, unintuitive interface, annoying alarm!
I wanted to buy a watch for my son who started cross-country. It was important that it have a stopwatch and a regular watch and it had to fit his small wrist while still looking not too kiddy. This watch looked the part and indeed it fit. However, we had to remove it from our house. First, the packaging it came in was just sad. I get minimal packaging but it would have been better with no packaging than the sad battered box it arrived in. Secondly, it took me a long time to figure out how to set the watch - only in 24h military time mind you - because there are no instructions at all. Even the buttons don’t have labels. Once we did that, I noticed one screen still said “11:49” even though I had just changed another screen from 11:48 to 4:48. I found out why later - when it went off as an alarm waking up the whole house at night. We figured out how to turn it off - and it recurred the next night. All this from a screen that was impossible to change with any combination of button presses. I returned it this morning so that my family can have a full night’s sleep. It wasn’t worth trying to figure out. Technology has moved on, and I get that, but I owned watches as a kid and they were never this difficult to use. If I sound angry, it’s because I haven’t had a night of uninterrupted sleep all weekend.

Great...if you know how to disable the beeps
My 4 year old LOVES this watch and the velcro band makes it easy for him to put on. I was really frustrated because he managed to press all the buttons and turn on the alarm and it woke me up at 5am. I also wasn't happy about the beeps in general, which would be pretty disruptive at school. It seems almost all digital kid watches are loud! Luckily, I found a video showing how to disable the sounds on the watch, and now that I did that, I am very happy with it. You unscrew and remove the back (I found I could slide the back out of the way without taking the strap off) and put a piece of tape over the white circle stuck to the back of the watch, then screw back on. I used masking tape. This disrupts the connection that makes it beep. All the other functions of the watch have continued working, it's just quiet now and no more 5am wakeups.

No manual learn by doing
Totally a pita to set up with no manual and no way to understand the instructions since I was trying to download the manual on my phone but then it wanted a desktop or a laptop, which was not available at the time , I gave it to goodwill

Loved by 8-yo
Easy to set the date and time with the buttons. Easy for 8 year old to use the band. Nice 3-second illumination. Our son liked this better the fancy smart watch he had and misplaced.
