Did not fit/wrong one

Fit loosely 2006 gmc sierra. Inside piece needs to be inset farther into the outside housing so that fits snuggly against the bumper. About a 1/8" gap and kind of just hangs there. Maybe a thicker bumper? Seems like the return will go OK
