Tried Three Others Before These!
After using the EMs For Bubs for her when she was 10 weeks old until her head got too darn big after her 9 month growth spurt, I set about to find a bigger pair for her with the headband style, instead of the soft jersey wrap that the baby ones have. I looked at other recommendations on parenting blogs and websites, and for some reason tried other brands before coming back to EMs for Kids! They had barely any cushion, and she easily pulled them off her head within 2 minutes. We haven't had an opportunity to try them out of the house, but as far as the fit goes, they are PERFECT! Enough pressure to hold them on without smooshing her big oln' noggin, and I tried them on myself to check the noise reduction... Incredible! I believe they have one of the highest sound protection ratings on the market, as well. If you're looking for GREAT ear protection for your "no longer a baby" baby... THESE are the ONES!

Em's 4 Kids Earmuffs (Blue)
Rated OK for the following. (Similar or same as "Baby Banz Hearing Protector Earmuffs")Purchased for a 1 year old child to protect hearing while visiting daddy at the race track. Description says "Designed for toddlers and kids 6 months and up", note it does not say anything about sized for kids 6 months and up. These are the same size as an adult pair of hearing protection and cover thier ears and most of the jawline. I feel spring tension is a bit high for use on younger children. My now two year old complains of pressure after 30-40 minutes of wear. Good news, they will eventually grow into them. Regards

Em-amazing!!!
Em's 4 Kids are FANTASTIC! We bought them for our almost 3 yr old grandson to go to The Miramar Air Show featuring the F-18 jets, Herrier jets, The Blue Angels and more. We were in a suite right on the runway and directly in front of The Blue Angels. Max doesn't like loud noises like fireworks so we weren't sure how long our day would last. Being so close made for the loudest sound we've ever experienced! But we put the perfectly fitting, cute blue Em's 4 Kids on him and he loved the air show! It was MUCH louder than we had anticipated, yet he wasn't fazed by any noise. The Em's worked their magic. In fact, so well that Max fell asleep just before the Blue Angels flew. Yes, he laid in his stroller, wearing his fabulous ear protection, right on the runway, and slept as the ear splitting engines roared to life, took off and flew right in front of our party!! These Em's 4 Kids were extraordinary and perfect!

amazing!!!
I have 2 year old with sensory issues and loud noises are the worst. These headphones are amazing!! They are a great size and snug against the head but I've tried them on myself and they don't pinch and are not tight feeling. Just snug enough to seal off the ears. The best part about these is that they significantly reduce loud noise, but I can speak to my daughter while she's wearing them and she can still hear me. We've used these for air shows, parades, fireworks displays, and even in a really noisy restaurant during dinner. If my daughter gets too overwhelmed she will ask us for these headphones!! To get her used to them, I put them on then turned on the vacuum. I gently removed the headphones so she could hear the vacuum, then put them back on her. She spent a few minutes taking them off and putting them back on, I'm assuming to hear the differences in the vacuum noise. Since then, these go everywhere with us!

Too tight!!!
Super tight!!! Bought these for our baby's first ride in a non-commercial airplane. They are so tight I didn't feel comfortable leaving them on my child. I felt like they squeeze his head way too hard. He is only a few months and doesn't have a big head, I can't image them being comfortable on a baby or young child.

I bought this for my almost 4 year old son who has audio sensitivity. It fits perfectly and is very cute on him. I was concerned he might be stigmatized if he wore it during music class at nursery school but in fact the other kids and his teachers think it's cool. It works well and my son loves it. He says his ears don't hurt anymore when he has them on even when live music is playing.

We got these for my daughter and she loves them more than I could ever describe. I think she mainly loves them because she can hear her voice in a different way when she is just playing at the house and being silly - even though we bought them to attend our community festival that has loud live music. We've also used it for a local parade that has some really loud music and crowds. It makes her feel a little less intimidated by all the chaos of big events. And she loves the color blue;) I've even put them on to see how well they seem to work and it definitely cuts out a lot of background noise but allows you to hear voices near you pretty well. Really sturdy, too, which is great because my daughter likes to throw them. The only draw back is that they are a little hard to put on. My daughter can't really put them on herself and has difficulty taking them off sometimes because they fit so tightly over the ears but I think that's also why they work so well.
