Works as advertised
I am finishing up a 17 day trip to Europe, where I used this Sim card during the entire trip. It certainly performed as advertised! I used it in a Nexus 6P android phone, which has the capability to work on a GSM cell network (most of Europe), as well as the CDMA network in the states, depending on the Sim card used. Couple minor hickups I'll mention later, but it provided excellent coverage and reasonable speed throughout Spain and Southern France. I followed the instructions on setting it up in the U.S., and it was good to go from there once I reached Europe. Something to note- don't initially set it up until your entire European visit is within the 30 day usage period. The 30 day clock starts when you initially set it up in the states.Couple additional notes and hickups. We traveled directly from the U.S. to Spain, and the 444 call for updates on balances (talking minutes, texts, and data) worked well. However, when we traveled through Andorra, and I no longer got any data connectivity. Cell service seemed to work, but no data available. Not sure that totally meets the advertisement of "works in every country in Europe", but our Andorra adventure lasted only for a stop for lunch, so it was not a big deal. Driving into France, it connected to the France cell network cleanly, but I still couldn't get data. Maybe it would have eventually connected for data, but I was impatient, and restarted my phone. Both cell and data connections were reinstated once the phone finished it's power up. Another slight hickup after that though, is that I could no longer get balance updates by dialing 444. It kept asking for a 16 digit Voucher number (which I didn't have), and would auto hang-up after I failed to enter a valid voucher number. Even after driving back into Spain later in the trip, it did not allow me to get my Sim balances, and continued to ask for a voucher #. Not sure if that was a ploy to get me to add minutes/data, or just a system malfunction, but it was only a minor annoyance for me because my phone keeps track of my data usage, and I could tell my data balances with my phone. Although I mainly bought the Sim card for data, I did have reason to make some phone calls within Europe, and it connected fine. Just remember to dial your number as though you are always calling from the UK, not the local country you happen to be in.Overall, it was a valuable addition to my trip accessories, and allowed me to research hotels/attractions/travel options as though I was in a big city in the U.S.It ended up being a good investment for my Europe trip!

No data
PrePaid Europe (UK THREE) sim card 12GB data+3000 minutes+3000 texts for 30 days with FREE ROAMINGSeller travSIM GmbH GermanyI had this activated May 13, 2023while I was still in the USA. On this day, I received an SMS from Three saying I have 50 Gb of data (see screenshot) which was a surprise to me since the Amazon product listing said that data is just 12 Gb. On the same day, though, within minutes, Three also sent an SMS that said “You’ve run out of cash credit” (bottom portion of the screenshot).Huh?! There wasn’t supposed to be cash credit. This Amazon-sold product was supposed to just have data.In the USA, my phone connected to T-mobile. I had roaming on. There was no working cellular data which I didn’t have time to look at. I thought it would work better when I get to Europe.Fast forward to May 20, 2023. I’m in Vienna with no data. The top status bar of my iPhone shows 3AT 4G (often switches to 3G). There’s no cellular connectivity (data) - see screenshots. The messages in my phone are - Could not activate cellular data network. Safari cannot open the page because your iPhone is not connected to the internet. The Network Analyzer app shows the carrier is Three, network type is LTE but there’s no connectivity.I tried to send a text (BALANCE) to 50272 but it didn’t send. I got Failed DeliveryIf your travel date is on a weekend then you’re out of luck getting hold of TravSIM’s customer service. This SIM card is going back to Amazon. Fortunately, my 30-day return period has not run out yet.TravSIM, what are you doing selling a SIM card that doesn’t work outright as the product listing says it should? It’s a good thing I have a backup SIM card - Vegolink PRO. This one worked without a hitch. My iPhone status bar shows Magenta T LTE which I think means T-mobile.

Worked perfectly
My husband and I did a trip to Portugal and Scotland for 17 days. I got onto wifi whenever I could but the TSIM helped so much when I wasn’t able to. By the end of our trip I had 90% of the plan left! So the data went really far for the price. My husband paid his phone company $100 for an international plan and I paid the $20 for the TSIM (which comes with a temporary UK number.)The benefit I had was that I was able to make international calls with ease whereas my husband had difficulty using his US number to contact hotels, attractions etc. Also, some of the pay-for-parking in Edinburgh, Scotland was more friendly to a European number to sign up for their app, so having the temporary UK number really came in handy. Especially for not knowing before hand. TSIM saved the day when we only had an hour to spare!I was able to use my US number on wifi and when I wasn’t on wifi, I used WhatsApp to communicate back home to the US and send photos. It was a nice excuse to disconnect and only have a select few know they could contact me whenever they wanted via WhatsApp.When setting up the TSIM card I was terrified that I was going to mess up the process because of the other reviews. So I followed the directions closely and I utilized the TSIM live chat with an employee to make sure I followed them correctly. I kept the packaging and gave them the information from it. They assured me in seconds that I could shut off my phone to switch back to my US sim until the trip and that I was good to go in their system, and I was!I will definitely use this again if we travel overseas. I saved so much money and was very convenient. Very happy with my purchase!
