Put it in my truck and almost everything retained, except i can't seem to get the microphone to work with the new headunit since it needs to be plugged in and thus sync isn't working well. Also usb and aux don't work with the unit all other features seemed to work. Media button shifts thru my categories and skip track and volume works too. So pretty good for what I wanted. Not 100 percent perfect. But I may have missed a wire im just an average guy installing it in my truck. Maybe a shop might have done it better. Never know. Btw headunit is a pioneer nex 5200 if anyone's wondering.

Perfect for a 2009 Ford Escape
This worked perfect for changing out the stock stereo to a Pioneer head unit, while still retaining steering wheel controls and Sync, on a 2009 Ford Escape.

Bad Harness for the Money
I bought this for a 2012 Ford Escape and just got my Pioneer double din receiver installed by Best Buy. The tech told me that the harness I received was faulty and needed to be replaced, axxess ones are hit and miss was what I was told. The volume controls did not work properly and although it said SAT can be retained, it was not. If I would of known that I wouldn't of went this route, now I need a new harness along with a satellite tuner. I gave it 2 stars because it made the receiver work temporarily until Best Buy installs a better brand of wiring harness.

Steering wheel controls do not work
Easy install. CAN box did not recognize the new Jensen CAR710x radio. Configured itself as a Sony. So SWC’s would not work properly. Spent well over 2 hours on the phone with Metra tech support. They were great! But the CAN box would not accept the manual configuration for a Jensen. Very disappointed.

Buyer Beware seller does not stand behind product!
I purchased this item for a 2007 Ford Expedition EL Limited edition that had the factory nav and CD player that was acting up. After the installation and subsequent back up camera install by a local specialist, the interface "black box" was found to be the source of a direct short that drained the car battery in short time. I tried to get sigmaenterprises to send a replacement unit under warranty within the one-year factory warranty period and they refused, saying that because I paid less than retail that the Metra warranty is null and void.

So So product
Had a problem with the instructions when installing this product. Called their customer support and waited a good long time. The fella that helped me was great tho and we got the issue sorted out quickly. It was a power wire issue, instructions weren't quite right. When I went to push the 'reset' button on the module with a pen it folded up and away like it was attached at the rear only. Didn't reset, but I was able to use the rest of the 'features' on my nav/stereo system. Just can't use the steering wheel controls for which I bought it for.
