I was amazed
Previously whilst using my Dewalt planer my job site would look like a steakhouse. I smacked this baby on my planer and almost no sawdust. I couldn't believe it. It's super easy to attach and the bag folds with a spring like a squeezebox. Pure genius.

Fits the DCP850 well. The removeable cap is a great feature, as is the ability to collapse the bag for storage.

Great but gets hard to open
This is extremely useful for my planer. I would be a big mess without it.However, it get quite frustrating to open. It is not easy to quickly open it.

Dewalt tries to push us away
Having the bag hanging down to collect the debris is simply in the way of our work. Their connections don't fit the vacuum hose without purchasing numerous products. It's worse than apple devices wanting everyone to purchase items for their upgrades..

The chip collector has a larger holding capacity than it appears. It's a perfect addition to the planer to save the mess.
