Lighting considerations for unfinished crawl spaces.
I specifically chose white liquid rubber block and wall sealer to treat interior above grade concrete blocks in my unfinished basement for additional moisture control and brighter lighting. I plan to use black liquid rubber foundation sealer on exterior below grade surfaces. I avoided black and blue walls because I didn’t want to install extra lighting.

Waterproofer with Soap and Water Ckeanup
I applied this liquid rubber waterproofing to the stucco/slab interface to prevent water from wicking up into the pool bathroom. I put on three coats using soap and water to clean up the brush between coats. Water from the pool deck drain as well as from rain can overwhelm the ability of the water to run away from the house during severe rain storms such as those that occurred during hurricane Milton. Wicking can occur when the water pools at the stucco/slab interface. We were lucky as the wicking was very limited and did not cause any damage-only a slippery tile floor.

Stopped water even with damaged gutter
The media could not be loaded. We were getting water in our basement for years. First just moisture, then a full on pour! I mean it was pouring in! I grabbed this paint and painted the room the room the water was coming in at and also did a skirt around the outside. We had pla s to repair a damaged gutter, also just above the leak spot in the basement, but before we could get to it Mother Nature had other plans. We had a huge downpour! Nothing... bone dry. Even with the broken gutter spilling everything right along side the house! I couldn't believe it! I highly recommend this product, but do following the directions when applying it.It is very low oder and I felt safe using in the house with my 4mo baby around. Granted not in the same room where I was painting, but you get my point.Make sure you have the correct rollers too! That makes a huge difference when applying it. Just for safe measures I did apply two coats on the inside, but only one outside. May have to buy more and hit the rest of my basement. I would like to use it on my floor down there too, just for some extra strength.

Passed my first tests
I've only done a test trial on some boards but so far it seems to do what I expected... which is to seal the boards well enough to keep away decay when on the ground for a long time. I'll probably come back and give it a 5 star review once I have used it extensively and am convinced it will seal completely. One very important positive is this is water based (a paintbrush I used cleaned up perfectly) and still the dried coating repelled water. Very happy I did not smell any VOCs (volatile organic compounds.)

This was the winner
Bought 3 different types of these “water proffer/ liquid rubber”. This one was the best by far. One of the others seemed like good quality but smelled like someone crapped on a dead animal carcass that was soaked in oil. The other was too thin and watery, but this one nailed it

Wall block
This stuff is very helpful. Liquid rubber is the best description. Thank you for making this product, especially for me!
