Streamlight75811 Stinger DS LED Flashlight with AC Steady Charger, Black - 425 Lumens

This is my second Stinger. My first lasted me almost 11 years on duty (law enforcement) before it quit working one day. I still had the light though and when I received the new one, on a whim, I put the battery from the new one into the old one and it worked again. Turns out this new one wasn’t needed after all!!! That’s a testament to how tough this flashlight is... if a rechargeable flashlight can last 11 years on one battery and after that time, the only work needed is a battery change, it’s an AMAZING light. It’s been dropped, it’s fallen off the top of my vehicle, thrown, used to break a window, been through countless uses of force and it’s beat to hell but works just fine. Am I upset I bought a new one? Nope. Amazing light.

i purchased this flashlight and it is definitely worth the cost! I’ve used this during night patrols/ ride alongs, night parades, directing traffic, and for searching for people. I once was searching for a person who ran onto a high school football field and i used this flashlight out on the field and it lit up THE WHOLE ENTIRE FIELD! I’ve used this for searching vehicles and it didn’t let me down. I’ve used this for directing traffic (pitch black dark and in pouring rain) and it held up perfectly. I’ve also dropped this while running and besides a couple of dings, there were no issues. I definitely reccomend this flashlight to law enforcement officers, security guards, police and fire explorers, and bounty hunters. Great job Streamlight, keep up the fantastic work!

I never thought I would spend over $100.00 for a flashlight, but I am glad I did. My brother convinced me I needed it. When I first got it and turned it on I thought, on no what did I spend all this money on, I did first turn it on in broad daylight. I then took it to my cabin in the woods. It is pitch and I mean pitch black there. My goal this summer was to walk to the back of the 10 acres, in the pitch black, to get over my fear of the dark woods. So flashlight in hand, off I went. WOW, it truly lit up the woods. I would say the range was about 50 feet. I made it to the back of the 10 acres. It was like having a mini sun. This thing is smaller than a 3 cell mag light (which I am now throwing out) I highly recommend it. It is incredibly bright.

I have purchased this flashlight and have used this brand for more than 10 years and have never had a issue till I bought this one from the amazon website the battery life is crap it does not hold a charge I work a 10 hour shift and use the light throughout my shift I do not leave it on for more then five minutes at a time and within two hours it is starting to go dead and I have to charge it again after charging it the day before my next shift would not recommend buying from this site or seller your better off going to a police supply store and buying it from there also the top rubber button came off within 3 days of me having and using tbe light. Sent it into streamliggt to be repaired and was told the battery pack that came with the light was used and need to be replaced and the button was not put in correctly could have been done by streamlight during production other than those issue's the light is bright and durable like all streamliggt products so once again your better off buying it from streamlight's website or a police and security supply store

This was not a good used flashlight !!! It came wrapped in a plastic bag with the chargers inside with the light , The flashlight did not work , nor would it charge with the charger !! I tried to put a charged battery in the light and it still didn't work !! This is not a model # 75813 !! I am sending this light back and I would like a replacement #75813 that I can use for work and depend on the light for safety purposes with two switches and more dependable !! Thank you for your time in correcting this problem !! If you send a new light in the box with the two switches and two chargers I would gladly pay for it !!

I have worked in radio public safety communications for over 40 years, and have installed hundreds of streamlight products in police and fire vehicles over that time. They have always been both extremely good quality and expensive. But you never get one ( high quality ) without the other (expensive) in my experience. The charging system is first rate and smart. No over-charging or battery damage when left in the charger, EVER. And the choice of AC or DC input is suitable for every contingency you could ever have. If your command vehicle has a shore power set-up, you can run it off AC, if just installing it in your own vehicle, you have the choice of easy cigarette lighter plug, or hard wiring for DC. The holder is the best and most rugged/ secure I have seen yet. It will NEVER come loose no matter how rough of terrain you put it through, and it will ALWAYS be ready when you need it. Never ever over or under charged. Take it from an experienced Electronics Engineer, they are worth the money.

I bought this for my son for his birthday who became a police officer recently. His girlfriend noticed it on his amazon list so we bought it and he was so happy!! I found out our other son already uses this flashlight on the job ( he is a deputy also) and he did tell him just to charge it after he gets off duty and it will be strong his whole next shift! He did say he didn’t use the car mount charger as it’s always on him at work , Everyone was impressed with thus light even out if the box with no charging yet we could see to the tops of the tall trees perfectly at night!

Streamlight is perfect if you need to be able to look to the other side of the crawlspace or attic when performing an inspection. I have two now and feel that these are way better than some of the "Tactical" flashlights that talk about being 1000 lumens+. Those are for broad illumination, not direct stream. I would highly recommend this flashlight to anyone who is a Professional Home/Building Inspector - one of the best tools in my toolbox!!
