North Valley Spruce Garland, 9 Feet

I love how real this garland looks and it was a great addition to our staircase Christmas decor. It's also battery operated AND automatically timed. Our batteries lasted exactly until Christmas day. Be mindful of the length of the garland and the length of your intended use dimensions because I needed 2 for my staircase.

Nice garland. The battery box on it is pretty big, but you can switch from multi color, white, flashing or not. The lights also have a timer on them and automatically shut off and come on at the same time each day. There's lots of fancy garland hangers out there for sale, but I just used zip ties around my banister. The garland is big enough to hide it.

So far, so good. The batteries have lasted for a couple weeks in our store, which is open 8 hours a day, 7 days a week. I wish the light bulbs were bigger and stood out from the pine needles more. The control/battery mechanism is extremely heavy and large and will determine where you place the garland. It just happened to work out for our set-up after some decorating revisions to accommodate it. It is also necessary to pull the needle branches apart and make them look wide and natural, and that takes some time. It's not just, Open the box, insert batteries, and hang! But overall I would recommend this product if you absolutely do not want to run extension cords all over the place.

I ordered two sections of this garland and tested them multiple times before decorating. Once I finished decorating, one section would not turn on. It was not the batteries, and there was no break in the wires that I could find. All the bulbs were intact (which shouldn't matter because they're LED). So I ordered a replacement and had to take all the decorations off the first section and then put them on the replacement. The replacement had multiple bulbs missing, which couldn't be replaced because the replacement bulbs are bigger than the bulbs in the garland. Then, the second of my original two sections of garland stopped working. This time, we couldn't turn the lights off, so we had to take the batteries out. Once placing them back in, the lights wouldn't turn on. It seems to be the button that keeps breaking. So now I'm down to one and praying that it keeps working because I'm not decorating another section of garland this year. And when it does inevitably break, I will not be purchasing this garland again.

I just put in the batteries this morning. I thought it would be a little longer but I did not measure first before ordering so this is not a reflection of the product. I love all the options and in my opinion is why the battery pack is large. The battery pack is longitudinal and not square so I didn't have a hard time conceal it behind the garland at the end where it is. Considering the other gardland with small battery pack, same price or more, one color option - I am pleased with this one. I read the reviews about the clunky battery pack but I figured it was because of all the flashing and color changing options which led me to decide it didn't outweigh the pro's. I hope that I don't have to come back with time to edit my 5 star review. Tonight will be the first night. It looks great even during the day.

Okay....yes. The battery box is HUGE. In fact, I had to make a special trip to buy D batteries for this garland since I don't remember the last time I had any product that used them! But I love it. It fits the top of my fireplace mantel perfectly and the battery box is hidden behind the branches. The lights can be set to white or multi-colored and will blink or remain constant. I like that there is no pesky cord hanging down and, once I added a little bit of this and that (a berry garland and some beaded garlands), it was perfect.

Here's what you should know about this particular garland. First, it's very sparse. Fluffing does help, but it's still sparse, and if you're after a natural look, keep on looking. Second, the battery pack is VERY large. I mean about a foot long, so it's going to be difficult to hide.. It is not a small, square pod for batteries. It is LARGE! Now, outside of these two cons, the garland itself is very nice for the price. It's pre-lit which is great, and comes with a few different light modes as well as a timer. I personally purchased four 9' sections, strung two together to make 18 feet, and then braided another two 18' sections together to make a very lush garland for one side of my staircase. And yes, I have to have another FOUR sections for the other side of the staircase. So if you'd don't mind a little DIY, these little guys are great! They arrived packaged well and exactly as described.

I got this for my mantle and I’m super pleased with it. It’s got great fullness and quality and I was really excited about the different light settings and timer. I thought it was just white lights, but it has all these functions that change them to colored and blinking and can alternate between white and colored. My kids had a great time helping me set it up. Definitely glad I got this!

Pros: looks pretty good, several different light settings and a timer. Cons: listing says no cords to hide, however requires 3 D batteries housed in a case the size and shape of a giant banana. There's a good and bad side meaning you need to watch how you mount it to make sure it doesn't get twisted otherwise you won't see all the lights.

Buen producto, no le doy las 5 estrellas ya que no es exactamente el color de la imagen, pero lo compensa muy bien el colgarlo y al adornarlo, tiene la función de cambios de color y ritmos del color que lo vuelven más decorativo.

Llegó en buenas condiciones, las luces son con funciones, pr lo tanto estuvo perfecto, me quedo lindo ya decorado !
