Good and Bright Zoomable Flashlight
This is a review of the Gotellx Rechargeable LED Flashlight. I like to have a flashlight that is somewhat compact, durable, and can be recharged. This one seemed to fit the bill, so I decided to give it a try. Overall, this flashlight works pretty well. It is small enough to be able to fit it in my jacket pocket. The light is pretty bright, and it has a rechargeable battery. The battery lasted for a few hours for me at the highest brightness, which is pretty good, and about the life claimed. The body of the flashlight is metal, and this thing feels very durable, at least from any kind of impact. Functionally, this light has a single button and is simple to use. It can be used to scroll through bright, low, and strobe settings. If the flashlight has been on for several seconds, the button will simply turn it off. You can also hold down the button for a few seconds to directly turn it off from any setting. I love that there is a percentage battery indicator on it. I can easily see when I need to charge it up. On the same screen, it shows if it is charging. My only complaint is that I was unable to charge it using a USB-C to USB-C cable. I had to use a USB-A to USB-C cable. At the time of this review, the price makes this a good value for a flashlight of this type. I am deducting one star because I can't charge using my normal USB-C to USB-C cables, but overall, this thing works well. I recommend this to anyone who wants a durable, bright, rechargeable flashlight.

Bright, Compact, and Surprisingly Practical for Everyday Carry
After spending a couple of weeks using this Gotellx rechargeable LED flashlight around the house, in the garage, and on a couple of late evening walks, I can confidently say it’s a well-rounded EDC light with a few thoughtful upgrades that set it apart from basic budget flashlights. The first standout feature is the USB-C charging port. Not having to swap out AAA batteries is a major convenience. I charged it using the same cable I use for my phone, and it went from low to full in a reasonable amount of time. The LCD digital power display is more useful than I expected. Instead of guessing when the battery might die, you get a clear percentage reading. That’s especially helpful if you’re packing it for a camping trip or keeping it in a vehicle emergency kit. In terms of brightness, it’s impressively strong for a pocket-sized flashlight. On High mode, it easily lights up a backyard or the far end of a dark parking lot. I’d estimate it throws a solid beam well past 100 feet in spot mode. The zoom function works smoothly—pulling the head forward narrows the beam into a focused spotlight, while pushing it back creates a wide flood pattern that’s great for close-up work like looking under a sink or inside an engine bay. The transition feels solid, not loose or wobbly. The aluminum alloy body gives it a durable, slightly tactical feel without being overly heavy. It’s compact enough to fit comfortably in a jeans pocket or glove compartment. I accidentally dropped it from about waist height onto a concrete garage floor, and it didn’t show any noticeable damage or flicker afterward. The IPX4 water resistance rating means it handles light rain just fine, though I wouldn’t submerge it. There are three modes: High, Low, and Strobe. High is bright enough for outdoor use, while Low is more practical indoors and helps stretch battery life. I consistently got close to the claimed runtime—around 3 hours on High and closer to 5 on Low before needing a recharge. Strobe is there if you want it for signaling or emergency situations, though I rarely use that mode in everyday scenarios. A couple of minor drawbacks: the mode cycle requires clicking through settings, so if you only want High every time, you’ll occasionally have to toggle past another mode. Also, while it’s bright, it’s not on the same level as larger tactical lights that use bigger battery cells. That’s the trade-off for its compact size. Overall, this is a practical, durable, and easy-to-charge flashlight that works well for home use, camping, car emergency kits, or everyday carry. The digital battery display alone adds real value, and the USB-C charging makes it far more convenient than older battery-powered models. For the size and feature set, it’s a dependable and versatile little light.

Good Versatile Flashlight
As far as flashlights go, this lamp provides all the current functions of modern LED flashlights. The lamp head slides in and out to gradually convert between a wide beam to a narrow pin-point beam. Clicking the button again after turning on the light, lowers the bright intensity and clicking the button a third time, puts the light into a flashing mode. The fourth click will turn the light off. If you don't want to click through each of the modes to turn off the light, you can press and hold the power button and after 3 to 4 seconds the light will shut off. This flashlight does not have memory so if you were in dim mode when shut the light off with a long button press, the next time you turn the light on, it will revert back to its default bright mode. The lens end of the lamp telescopes in and out to change the beam focus from wide to narrow. This telescoping action on this flashlight is very smooth indicating a good design with tight variances. One thing that is not immediately obvious is where to plug in the USB-C charging cord. This little gem is found beneath the telescoping function of the front lens. It has to be slid forward to reveal the USB-C plug. One of the great features of this flashlight that I've left for last is the digital charge readout. I've had several lamps that have charge indicator lights that dim or go out as the battery loses charge, however, this lamp provides an exact digital reading of the charge remaining. Great feature as long as the digital board continues to work. Not sure how much of a beating this lamp will take. In an effort to keep this light working for as long as possible, my intention is to handle this light with care. Speaking of handling the light, it does come with a wrist strap. The lamp is also light in weight yet feels solid and sturdy in my hand. Very happy with this flashlight.

Strong Light Output
I am very pleased with this flashlight. It has the same base features of most flashlights in its class; adjustable wide/narrow beam, full or half light intensity and strobe. On thing that sets this apart is some of the more basic models cycle through full, half and strobe no matter how long you've been using the light. For example, if you've been using the full light for 5 minutes and want to turn it off, you have to still cycle through half and strobe before it turns off. With this one, after use, you just press the power button once and it's off. It also have a very strong beam when focused narrowly. I was able to clearly see the light in the tress at night from several houses down. Lastly, it has an LCD screen which shows you the charge/battery level so you know how much power you have left or how close it is to a fully charge when plugged in. It's also very lightweight for its size and comes with a strap. All in all, a great little flashlight.

Super performance for the size and money
This little guy is a super performer for its size and the price. I’ve owned my share of LED lights over the years, this ranks up there with some of the bigger ones for its performance. A big shout out to the focusing beam. While the lumens themselves are not quite what the bigger lights have, the adjustable beam allows you to concentrate that to a small field if you want. I was able to see clearly objects that were 600 ft away. Light weight for easy transport, small enough to store nearly anywhere. Powerful enough to be useful. Rechargeable, no more swapping dead batteries or leaking batteries ruining a good flashlight. USB C charger for convenience. Battery life display, no more grabbing a flashlight and finding out it needs a recharge. This is a winner in my book! Recommended buy!

Really bright flashlight, nice adjustable zoom, good features, wish I could change battery
This is a nice flashlight. It looks well made with some useful functions, like a battery percentage indicator. My hand fit feels a little slick, like a glossy anodized coating. It's not tacky like a SF/SL tactical light. As noted, the power mode to go directly to off after several minutes of use is very handy. That's a nice QOL upgrade. To charge, you insert the USB-C cable into the port underneath the zoom head. The brightness is great outdoors. I do wonder about whether it's safe to be on the other end of this light, because when the zoom is adjusted to maximum throw, you see a bright cone of light through the air. I would not want to be on the other end! I think the brightness is too much for indoors use, even on the lower power setting and adjusted for maximum spill. It's a lot of light, and you'll see your walls in blinding reflection. Where I deduct 1* is the battery. The light feels *VERY* light, like a something-fire battery is inside. I'd love to upgrade to a P28A, 25S, 50S, etc, but from what I can tell, the end cap is sealed so replacement would be destructive. Overall, it's a nice flashlight, and it would go well with your outdoor pack or anywhere else you want to use or stash a lightweight light.
