H2Pro 24" Glass Canopy for 15/20/ 55-Gallon Aqueon All Glass Marineland Perfecto Aquarium Fish Tank (23.07 x 11.69 x 0.16in)

I have kept aquariums going on 40 years now, and recently added some new tanks. Switching over to glass canopies was the hardest part of the task - the new lids are all undersized and use a number of plastic tabs on the canopy edge to make it fit the tanks. For example, the glass canopy that I bought for my 10 gallon required four plastic rims (two on each side, and a row of them across the back, for a total of 8 individual plastic pieces, which still didn't fit right and resulted in a lid falling into the tank if I tried to sit something, say fish food or a light, on it. This is sized perfectly across, and there is only ONE plastic line across the back so the structure is not sacrificed and the function is dependable and reliable. Thick crystal clear glass, sturdy support, easy to use, the most difficult thing was trying to center the handle when I put it on. Will be buying more as backup!

I was hesitant to purchase these online because I have purchased others that always arrived broken into pieces. These were so cleverly repacked inside the manufacturer boxes with very strong and adequate protection for shipping. I am so impressed!!! I am equally impressed with the price! No price gouging here like I see at other retailers. The same tops for $75 ?? No way!!!!Thank you for being reasonable!These fit my 55 gallon tank PERFECTLY! Mine was an Aqueon standard glass aquarium. Of course you need 2 of them.

ordered for my aqueon 55 gallon. fits great and glass and hinge look to be far better than the aqueon brand versa top. versa top hinges degrade from algae and wet environment, break down after 6 months - pathetic. This top has slightly thicker glass that is tempered, and hinge doesn't have that soft silicone material that breaks down as with aqueon. very happy with this product. Now I just need another for other half of tank.

Decent sturdy tank lid. Came well packed and in once piece, unbroken. Rather sturdy and thick (i'd say about 1/3 of an inch though I didn't measure). Also came with 2 command strip handles. My only complaint is that for my tall 20 gallon tank (12x24) its a little too wide and doesn't sit perfectly in the grooves of the tank designed for the lid, other than that it works great. You just have to be careful when lifting to open it as there is a chance it can slide around and possibly fall into your tank if you're not careful.If you have a hang on back filter, you will have an issue with lid clarity due to splashing up from your filter. I really like how you can cut the vinyl backing to the perfect length so your filter/tubing can fit perfectly to minimize open space. Because of the price point I was able to purchase a higher quality LED light for my tank and it was still cheaper than some name brand lids with lights built in that are available on the market today.

Perfect fit for my 55 gal Aqueon, I purchased 2 of the lids. I love the clear glass, and was easy to put together.

The item arrived in a beat up box that looked as if it had been ripped, opened, then taped back up. The handles that are to be attached to the glass in order to lift it up arrived broken.The new process of returning this item is not easy. There are no Kohl's near me. The box is destroyed. My only option is to keep this damaged item. I will either give it away or throw it away, but I am definitely saying that it was a waste of money and I have to take the loss.

Perfectly fits an Aqueon 55 gallon tank that uses an Aquaclear 110 filter! A bit hard to cut the plastic but it fits great and so far, I have had no issues!

The aquarium cover looked great and was easy to add to my aquarium. I put it on my coral aquarium in my classroom on Friday afternoon and everythign looked great. When I came in on Monday, one half (the back panel) and completely shattered into my aquarium. There was no one in my room, so I have no idea how this would have happened. The glass did not look damaged when I installed it, but it caused chaos for my fish and coral. Could the heat from the aquarium light have done this? I have no idea. I have used other glass covers with lights in the past and have not had any problems.
