This is an awesome book covering various aspects of becoming better in many dimensions. This is a must read book.

I wish I could say writing this letter you is easy, but it is not. I am writing this letter to you from the bottom of my heart. I cannot stress to you enough how much writing this letter to you means to me. Nothing in the world bring me greater joy than to share, give, and cry tears of joy with you about a book that has changed my life, but most importantly the lives of others. Lakewood Church, Joel Osteen, and Become A Better You have truly touched my heart, but most importantly the lives of many Christian and non-Christian believers and unbelievers in the world today. Become A Better You is an easy read, easily adaptable, and recommended for readers of all ages. After opening this book for the first time I received such tremendous revelation from Joel. I loved the topics in which he touches about planting seeds, seasons of increase, comebacks, breakthroughs, and turnarounds. Joel is sure to discuss the importance of planting seeds in the life's of people or individuals around us especially both Christian and non Christian born again believers. Each and every word that we speak we are planting seeds in our lives, but most importantly in the lives of those around us. Joel is sure to speak the importance of planting seeds in the lives of those people or individuals around us. There are seasons for prayer, there are seasons for giving, there are seasons for receiving, and there are seasons for reaping. Whatever your season might be you can be sure that God has a season for you. God loves you more than you can imagine. Whether you are a believer today or a believer tomorrow. A born again Christian today or a born again Christian tomorrow God has a season for you. Your seasons bring forth reaping. You reap both negative and positive outcomes throughout your seasons of life spiritually, physically, and emotionally. You can look back in different seasons of your life some your favorite some not your favorite and study how God has functioned in different phases of your life. Whatever your seasons might be God has a season for you. God loves you more than you can imagine. God is a good God. Joel teaches us about the power of a comeback, what it means to make a comeback and the power to make a comeback! One story that comes to mind when I think of this I love to share with people is Donald Trump. Of all men who know about the power of a comeback it's Donald Trump. Here is a man that made a billion dollars in his lifetime and lost it and then had the audacity to make it back! Wow! To make a billion dollars, lose it, and then make it back again! I don't personally know of any and know very few people who have ever accomplished or made a billion dollars let alone a million dollars in their lifetime and had the hope to try to make a fortune again. That is hustle, heart, mindset, and mastermind mentality at its best. To go bankrupt and then later have enough money to buy your own continent or island is pure hustling at it's finest. Hats off to Donald Trump and hats off to Joel Osteen for teaching is the power of comeback! A true breakthrough is a sensitive subject that occurs once every blue moon, but in fact they happen everyday. Joel discusses the importance of a breakthrough is his books the importance of finding your breakthrough, what to do when you find your breakthrough, and how to find your breakthrough if you have not. I love this topic because so many of us are waiting for our breakthrough to happen. Let me be the one to tell you that when you believe all things are possible. Your breakthrough is right around the corner, but you have to believe. Believing is not enough its only part of the solution. You have to take action! Your not going to get it asleep, your not going to get it sitting at home, and its not going to magically fall into your lap. You have to take action and you have to be responsible for your own actions. If you first pray and then practice these principals you too can receive your breakthrough for whatever it is you have been believing for. God is a good God. Joel teaches on the importance of a turnaround. A turnaround is a cause or action that allows one or something to relapse itself in positive manner in which a person, place or thing makes a miraculous comeback or breakthrough in a certain field, arena, or industry. When I think of turnaround I think of companies like Apple. Steve Jobs has done an outstanding job with the company Apple. I think back to a time when no one or anyone would even call Apple by the name of Apple. Apple was once referred to as Macintosh, which is now short for Mac. Macintosh has been along way with their number one competitor, which is Microsoft. Steve Job did an outstanding job turning around the company of Apple in which is has made countless number one comebacks, turnarounds, and breakthroughs for the company. You might be wondering what this has to do with God. But the same as God works through the lives of Joel and other biblical characters God works through the lives of us. God works through the lives of Steve Jobs to turn his company around in times in which he was in trouble. God has worked through the lives of you, but often times its sad to say but we are to blind to the fact that God has done great things in our lives that we should be thankful for that he didn't have to do. You have your health, strength, freedom, and security. I would say that's a lot to be thankful for! Joel received a lot of help from friends, family, relatives, and co-workers. Joel's sister Lisa speaks on Wednesday nights as she leads women to worship from all biblical aspects of the bible. Lisa is, has been, and will always be an original early supporter of Joel as she has been with Joel from the start. Paul Osteen, Joel's brother is a world renown famous heart surgeon who performs work out of Kenya, Africa and can be seen speaking at Lakewood on Wednesday nights also when Lisa the sister of Joel is not speaking. Dodie Osteen the mother of Joel Osteen holds a prayer and healing service at Lakewood the second Tuesday of every month and has been highly affiliated with the church for over 50 years. Victoria Osteen is a woman of God who is the assistant pastor of Lakewood Church. Victoria's audience opens up a wider fan base of opportunity. She too writes Christian books. I haven't read her latest book "Love Your Life", but I look forward to honing my skills of Godliness especially in the area of relationships a subject that is very close and dear to my heart. I would have to say the people that criticize Osteen for not teaching enough out of the bible truly do not understand how God operates, but most importantly truly do not understand themselves. But God operates through Joel to speak healing, restoration, and biblical doctrine into people or the congregation. Once you understand this you will understand is more in dept how God works. I cannot stress to you enough how much I am looking forward to Joel's new book "Everyday A Friday" which is set to release September 13th 2011 in books stores all around the world. "Everyday A Friday" will be a powerful dynamic reading of the 21st century by one of the greatest Christian authors of the 21st century if not of all times. If ever you are in the Houston area I recommend you attend Lakewood Church pastured by Joel and Victoria Osteen. You're in for a real treat. The best part about it is. It's free! It doesn't cost you anything. Bring a copy of your book, DVD, or CD to Lakewood Church. Joel will and always personally signs books after each service. I pray you find it in your heart to attend such a dynamic powerful life changing service. It will change your life it changed my life. God did it for me. He will do it for you. God is a good God. Watch how good God is.

Excellent book. Still read it from time to time. If you ever have watched one of Joel's sermons, you will sense that the book is simply a transcript of one of his messages behind the pulpit. That said, it is wonderful information, an easy read and VERY encouraging.

Very interesting book. Joel Osteen explains principles of Bible with simple examples. I like this Pritcher. Das Buch ist empfehlenswert.

My mother in law recommended me this book and I am loving it so far! Gives great advice and makes great points. Also love the use of bible quotes accordingly. It definitely has changed my perspective on a lot of things so far.
