Samson WS5E Headset Microphone Windscreen 5-Pack

I ordered these to use on a couple of lapel mics I have. They fit perfectly and appear to be of a good quality foam. They look like they will also fit the boom mic on my motorcycle helmet's communications system. The originals are rough to the touch and these are nice and smooth. They are a bit pricey for little bits of foam but if you have Amazon Prime or can get them shipped free the cost isn't so bad. They seem much better than other cheaper windscreens I've used.

I recently purchased a Blinc M1 headset for my motorcycle and the microphone screen the unit came with was cheap and flew off after a week of riding. Although it killed me to pay so much for a small piece of foam these mic covers fit snugly and work well.

4 out of 5 like others have stated because 4 out of the 5 pieces are good. The black one is junk. If you order these, call Samson direct and they should ship you a replacement black windscreen for free. Disappointing but at least they make it right. Overall, happy with purchase besides the black one being useless.

I could not even use two of the windscreens because they disintegrated and literally crumbled as I was removing them from their packaging. Will never buy again!

These are very good quality! I love the fitting and the colors! I order one package every year. Some times I lose them or they wear down due to sweat and make-up over time, so I find I need a new pack once a year. They last a year. I interchange in every class according to the mood of color I am in :) I teach a lo of different gorup exercise classes. Some complained how expensive they are. They actually are much cheaper than specialty store prices and they are good quality. Consider these.

Perfect fit and I love the range of colors and that come sealed in a reusable Baggie.

UPDATE: I contacted Samson about the black windscreen being dust. Customer service was excellent and speedy. They shipped me two additional windscreens to replace the faulty black one. In regards to putting them on the mic: I find that it is pretty easy to do. They are snug but I don't feel they are too snug. 4 out of 5 because only 4 out of 5 of my covers worked. the black windscreen was just dust in the package upon arrival.

As already indicated by other reviewers, the price point for these windscreens is on the high side. With five in the package, I'm hoping not to have to reorder these anytime soon. I do wish the item description gave more specifics on the size. These are intended for small headsets (not hand-held microphones), so I bought them to use when I teach aerobics. They are a snug fit, but they do the job. Using my own windscreens is better than sharing the community ones in my gym with all the other instructors... especially during cold & flu season!

It is very disappointed to find out that it doesn't fit to my EMIC. I have bought the similar windscreen along with EMIC earlier through a friend from US and thought it would fit but unfortunately, it's a waste of money.

Excellent head mic windscreens, fits my Trantec headset nicely. Nice, thick spongy material ensures no "Darth Vader" heavy breathing sounds when I'm teaching fitness classes! Other cheaper products I've bought in the past have fallen apart after heavy usage. Would highly recommend for fitness professionals.
