It works!
This was for a 2013 Kia Soul. It took a little effort to get the key in the new case and pop the pieces back together, keeping the spring in line. This case worked perfectly to replace the old broken case. It's quite sturdy.

Just what we needed!!
After my wife's factory remote had been used how ever many thousand times over the last 12 years, the buttons had completely broken out and left the remote useless. This new remote was exactly what we needed, and at a huge savings compared to getting a new one from the dealer. I was able to put the circuit board and key from the old remote into this new one and my wife has a working remote again. She was thrilled!! One thing to note is that if you use your old key, use the old key opening button as well because the new button doesn't seem to fit the old keys.

Pretty good!
Worked great once I watched a video or 2! If you take it apart yourself, my only recommendation is to open it in a plastic bag. The key portion has a few little springy parts that can go flying. Some people report that the spring button for the key does not fit properly- mine didnt fit but since I saved the old spring and button I was able to just use those.Mine came with a screw, but did not have a screw hole to put it in. Not sure if its supposed to be missing the hole, but it snaps shut and holds without the screw! Just know that taking apart your old key WILL destroy the plastic shell. So once you start, you cant stop

Perfect for my 2013 Kia Soul
The ONLY issue i had was closing the the new shell after assembly. It worked perfectly and my old key fit inside this shell as well, and the new uncut key will be saved until i need a new one cut. The old transponder fit perfectly and had no issues with the item itself, whatsoever.Notes:- If your old key fob says "KIA" on it, it is the factory fob and may have a tiny black chip that you will need to move to the new shell.- If your old fob has a tiny screw on the back, save the screw just in case, my new one didn't need it but better safe than sorry.- Make sure your transponder is working before assembling new fob. If your transponder doesn't work, then you need to buy a working one from the dealer or locksmith or you wont be able to start your car.- Make sure you WIND UP the key-spring ONCE or it wont pop out when you press the button to eject the key.FYI, i am no mechanic but I have experience with keyfobs and circuit boards.

Cheap, broke after a month, useless
Worked great for a month and now the fob falls apart every time I use it. The key no longer flips up, so I have to unlock my car manually, which causes the fob to break open each time. The key pad no longer works either… very frustrating

Not a direct replacement for my 2011 Kia Soul key FOB
My original 2011 Kia Soul FOB transmitter assy (AM11MY), SEKS-AM11ATx, P/N 95430-2K250/486607-3000, FCC ID NY0SEKSAM11ATX. According to this new item description, they should have been a replacement for my original FOB. However I was unable to use them to replace my FOB. I really only needed a new key, because the key insert housing in my original FOB cracked and no longer retained the cut insert. My hope was to just replace the new blank key insert with original cut key insert from the original FOB key, however the retaining pin hole in the new key housing did not line up with the pin groove in the original cut insert so the retaining pin would not fit. Further, the key blanks that came with the new FOBs were unable to be cut to match the original key because the two grooves down the length of either side of the new FOB blank did not match the location of the grooves in the original key. The last issue I had with the new FOBs was that they did not sufficiently retain the circuit boards removed from the original FOBs making the reassembly of the FOB pieces very difficult as the circuit board kept popping out of location and getting in the way. On the good side, the FOB plastic housing was nicely made and the pieces fit together snugly. So if the new FOB key blank matches your original key, and/or the new FOB housing can sufficiently retain your original FOB circuit board for an easier assembly, then maybe this new FOB could be a good replacement for you. But I could not use these FOBs to fix my key issue, so I cannot recommend them to anyone who has the same original key FOB P/N as I do.
