Highly recommend
I am using *many* 12 Step books from a large # of fellowships (conference approved & non) on this (my 9th?) round through working the Steps. It’s finally eating disorder recovery time (1st in, last out 🙄) and while each source offers different facets to my spiritual awakening-healing-recovery journey, some sources offer more like (for me, personally) crumbs, while others offer (for me) more like truck-fulls. This book is DEFINITELY in the big-rig category! In fact, if I had to reduce my E.D. Step specific lit to JUST TWO sources, I would choose this as one of the 2. When (🤞🏻/🙏🏼) I get to the sponsorship stage, this will undoubtedly be on the reading list. Those are my 2 highest forms of recommendation.

Helpful!
I bought this book as it was recommended by someone on Instagram and after looking ut up, I thought it might be helpful. It is one of those books that you end up highlighting the whole thing because it is all helpful and it all pertains to your life.

Best Out there- if it is to your taste
One of the most effective free weight loss programs ever. Diets I have tried and written many diet books so find the ones that work for you that are not dangerous. One diet that causes the body to loose weight fast places the body in keto or Ketoacidosis is bad because it can ruin your kidneys.

Nice, short readings (haven't made it through the book ...
This has been a helpful tool. Nice, short readings (haven't made it through the book yet - taking small steps and using The Overeater's Journal: Exercises for the Heart, Mind and Soul. Using both of these together has helped keep me on track without "being on a diet". I like that I don't have to substitute "food" for "alcohol" as you need to do when using the Big Book. Pretty new to this, but like it so far.

great book to carry in my bag!
I first bought this as an e-book, but I bought it again in paperback, so I can carry it in my bag. It's thin enough that it's light and doesn't take up much space. I need a constant reminder of the 12 steps and this book is like a good friend gently reminding me that the steps work if I work them! Very motivating. It's not OA approved, but I highly recommend.

Twelve Steps for Overeaters
The purchase of this book was very much an afterthought in so far as the book I was interested in was Gillian Riley's "Eating Less" but in the event I abandoned it when half way through in favour of "The Twelve Steps". The book is based on the Alcoholics Anonymous programme and although I have reservations about attending meetings of Overeaters Anonymous I have found the principles in this book work very well for me. I have been clinically obese for decades, have tried various diets, clubs and books and for the first time feel that the weight loss I am achieving is both ongoing and sustainable. I am much happier with the choices I am making on a day to day basis. Excellent book.
This book is brilliant. Easy to read, inspirational and down to earth. Would thoroughly recommend it to OA members and those who have problems with overeating, or who even think they might have.

great book! I feel that this version of the 12 steps goes a bit deeper than the official OA book.Very easy to understand and a must have for everyone who is attempting to do OA.I have only read 3 steps but I can already feel a change. It also arrived very well packaged.
