Drifters: The Complete Series [Blu-ray]

Had been waiting to get this at a good price, been a fan since the first hellsing manga. This has all the episodes that are currently out with English and japanese language, worth the wait for sure

This is a pretty enjoyable watch. It mixes famous historical personages and D&D type fantasy and mixes them together and has them battle it out. Toyohisa Shimazu is the main character, and while cool he is more of a one dimensional, charging straight ahead type of character - the real treat here for me was the portrayal of Oda Nobunaga which was really awesome imo. The storyline is a bit more complicated then just "Japanese Personages" as Drifters and "European Personages" as Ends. For one Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid, Hannibal and Scipio Africanus are on the side of the Drifters. The Ends also have members who are not of European extraction - If you listen to the Black Lord and identify the source of his quotes, and later see some of the magic he works - you may be shocked at who he is - and he definitely is not European. The Ends characters display emotions that remind one also of Hellsing Ultimate Characters - especially Joan of Arc and Rasputin. Not really a fan of the Saint-Germain portrayal - but whatever. This definitely deserves at least another season, and at the end it says there will be but gives a date of 20XX - not very helpful.

The media could not be loaded. Great anime !!! Very bloody and action packed !! I’m a big fan of this style of animation. It is seriously funny but very well put together. The story line is rather dope , you see characters from real life surface you have drifters who are like the good guys and ens are the bad one who crave blood, vengeance and death so far I’m on disc 3 and it is getting pretty interesting. If you like trigun, cowboy bebop , hellsing, samurai champloo Or one punch i think you will find this right up your ally . Package came early and shipped well.

This is such a cool series!! The sound effects and music are great, the animation is pretty cool, and overall, it's just an awesome series! Well worth the price. I hope they make at least a few more seasons of this because they could do a lot more with all the different characters! No spoilers, though. You'll just have to buy it to see what I mean. :)

This anime is a hardcore warrior tale of people in history and how events shaped their moral frameworks for honor or destruction. Beautifully animated and the main character is my favorite voice actor

It looks dope can't wait to watch cents I can't watch it on Funimation and Crunchyroll just glad I can finally watch it

I loved the anime. I had to have it on DVD it is a must own for any anime fan. I feel like it is under rated not enough people know how great it is.
