This was for the windshield for a 1948 Jeep CJ2A. The shaft was too long to allow the windshield to be folded down and I had to partially disassemble the unit in order to cut the shaft to fit. This was expected when I ordered it, it is not a universal fit out of the box.

Nice quality motor, but use it on old flat window rigs that only have a single wiper. You can't wire this one in tandem, even if you have a dual motor switch. The description on Amazon says you can wire it in tandem, but it is not possible. Spoke to a tech at Speedway Motors and he said they have a different motor that has the critical "S" post to wire in two motors in tandem off a switch.

I installed this on my 1930 Model A coupe. I had to enlarge the existing hole (previously a vacuum motor). Also, this does limit the opening of the windshield somewhat. Not that I put mine fully up/horizontal, but opening the windshield more than about two inches will put strain on the arm.Not quite a drop in replacement for a vacuum motor, but if you have a Model A, you're probably handy with a little modification and engineering of making things work.Good value for the money.
