Great Studio for the Money - Lots of Pros - Very Few Cons
I was pleasantly surprised by this photography tent! I am not a photographer and no little-to-nothing about the hobby. I purchased this to produce better-looking photos of my products for online sales. It is exactly what I needed! The item came packaged neatly and was not damaged. It was very easy to set-up and get going. You basically just have to unwrap/open everything and plug the lights in. The lights were great - especially the tripods on each of them. It made it very easy to move them wherever I wanted. I have seen other reviews saying that the lights weren't very bright however I didn't find that to be the case. I set this studio up in a room with an overhead light. I put 2 lights in the front of the studio and one on each side on the outside. I angled the 2 in front to shoot light at the top of the display. I didn't have any shadows and my entire product was evenly lit. The cell-phone tripod that came included was excellent! It fit my phone(Galaxy S7 w/ case) snugly but not too tight. It was sturdy and easy to maneuver. My favorite thing about the tripod was the fact that you can set it up to where your phone is 1 inch off the ground to do low, straight on shots or you can raise it up roughly a foot or more to do shots up above your items. My 1 problem with this entire set was the included backdrops. The quality is perfectly fine for what it is being used for and it is lined with Velcro for easy installation. However, they come folded into squares and are impossible to get the wrinkles and creases out of. I tried using an iron on the red one and it started to melt. I even tried hanging it on my shower rod and letting it steam to try and get the wrinkles out but that didn't work either. I am afraid I will have to make new backdrops myself.Overall, this is an absolutely excellent unit. The parts are cheap of course but they do the job wonderfully. My item don't care if they are being lit up by cheap plastic lights(that again, work very well) or expensive $400 lights that are made of the finest materials - but still emit light the exact same way. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is thinking about getting one. I haven't ever owned an expensive table top studio but I honestly don't know how it could be any better than this one?Pros --Price-Lights have folding tripods and illuminate the studio very well-Item is bigger in person and has plenty of room for items I assumed would be too large-Folds up nicely for travel-Had a free tripod that is super handy and saved me from buying one-Comes with 4 different color backdropsCons--Backdrops come folded and are very hard or impossible to straighten-Cords for the lights could be a few feet longer

This is a great setup. It was exactly what I needed
This is a great setup. It was exactly what I needed. The only con was the backdrops are folded. I would prefer them to be rolled instead. I will iron the colored ones and replace the white on. The white one is too thin for a decent white backdrop. Since the fabric is cheap at a local fabric store I will just get a strip of velcro and attach to a thinker white fabric. Not a big deal but for white, I need a super white anyways. This fabric you will see whats behind it for the white. The other darker colors are just fine. But you will need to iron them. I will iron then roll the fabric. The only other drawback is the fabric used to fold the side walls is a bit cheap. I would be extra cautious with unfolding and folding. It is great to fold for storing. If it does rip upon folding it does not look hard to repair.Price is excellent. The lights are likely worth the price. Having the phone tripod is a great bonus. Though I am likely to just use my $200 tripod instead :)

Most issues have been handled
I did a lot of research before I decided to purchase this particular light box system. I read all the reviews and decided that for the money, this one even with some of the reported issues would be the best option for the requirements of my online shoppe. Most of my products are small to medium sized with the largest being gift baskets approximately 12"w X 8"h. I have not tried the baskets yet but my individual items have photographed very nicely. As mentioned in other reviews, I did have to edit, but that is not a big deal. The end result was exactly what I was looking for with great detail, clarity, contrast and true color. No shadows. The set up is easy and sturdy. I really like the 2 led lights that I can move around. The 4 background panels did not have wrinkles or flaws, fuzz or debris. I tried out 3 of the 4 and they were solid. Very easy to install/uninstall on the velcro. The lights can fit in the pockets without having to take them apart, but it's bulky. It's just as easy to take them apart and store the legs in the middle pocket to lay flat. My only issue is with the Iphone tripod. Although my Iphone 8 fits, it is impossible to get to the controls once it is in there making is useless to me. Maybe if I play with it some more, I will find the trick. I was aware of tripod issues before I purchased and bought it anyway. It was not a big enough flaw to devalue the whole package. I would definitely recommend this light box and purchase it again!

Great for tabletop still life or product shots
This is a great setup and very portable. Everything pretty much fits in the pockets on the top with the exception of the backdrops, which you would want to keep rolled up in the supplied sturdy tube for storage. I would suggest bringing along a small, portable steamer if you're going to be traveling with it, just to get out any wrinkles which are impossible to avoid with any backdrop that is rolled back up after use. The tent box is very versatile allowing you to illuminate the interior from just about any angle, even from above. This is perfect for any online product shots you may want to take for yourself, or for others. My pepper still life's were shot using just one of the lights set up on the side. The other side is illuminated by the interior wall of the tent. It's easy to get very creative with this and the price is just right.
