I give this to my dogs for various reasons.I have one girl who's just hyper and I use it to calm her down when she can't calm herself.I also use it to calm down my biggest boy who has to have his ears cleaned and will shake and scratch for an hour or after his ear cleaning. And give him this in combination with baby aspirin to settle him down and he sleeps instead of scratching and shaking.Previous to an oncoming thunderstorm I will give this to my oldest dog so she doesn't bark every time it rumbles.It's very useful it also comes in an alcohol-free form. I think that the tiny bit of alcohol in this product is harmless as I spoke to my bad about it.You use is very little of the product at a time depending on the size of your dog it doesn't take much to settle them down when they need it.
