Wow! Love this tank!
Yes, it was expensive. But it also comes with everything but a heater (if you want tropicals). I got the 16 gallon which gives my guppies more room. And more room for decor for me. Check out reviews of tanks. Biorb are high quality. And they are very responsive if you have a problem. They sent me a new remote when mine wouldn't work without a lot of hassle.Everything in my tanks are biorb. Here's my recommendations:Double the amount of ceramic media they give you. More media means more good bacteria. It's worth the extra money.Put in small fish at 1 inch per gallon. Don't overstock!Don't overfeed! I learned the hard way too.Change water at least once a week. At least 30%, more if testing indicates a problem or if water is looking bad. Use a vacuum to get rid of yuck on bottom.Use seachem prime and stability with every water change and as needed by directions. I do 1 drop per two gallons 3x a week for first few months. I also add seachem pristine per direction once a week for first few months.I sometimes have diatoms. If decor starts looking brown I change all decor and clean it with hot water and old toothbrush if necessary. Bubble tube gets cleaned, interior side of tank gets cleaned and filter and air stone replaced (every 3 mo). Excess diatoms usually corresponds to nitrates so that means I change more water and add prime. That's my only repeated prob. But I stay on top of it so media doesn't get full of diatoms. My guppies love to eat the diatoms so as long as it's not brown I don't worry.I don't have plants in mine in the usual sense. Doesn't make sense to me to have roots in the media. But I have lots of marino balls.I really believe in Biorb tanks. If you pay attention and are consistent they really are relatively low maintenance. Mostly I just love looking at this tank. It's a work of living art!

Great overall, needs customization for an automatic power strip
Overall great product so far. If you want an automatic power strip to turn on and off the light, then you'll have to rig your own lights together. I'm a busy person who tends to forget to turn on the light when I'm running late. So I used another light from another tank and used command tape to put them in place on this bio orb tank. While doing this, I found that I didn't like how the wires to the bio orb light were already burnt looking. So it's a good thing I change it out. You can see the bio orb adapter had two plug ins: one for the air pump and the other for the light, both using the same adapter that you then place into the outlet. I guess normally this isn't an issue, but I needed my light option to be automatically set since I'm and air head about turning the light on

Beautiful but not functional…. Very Disappointed!!
While this tank is absolutely gorgeous, it is not functional. The filtration system doesn’t work worth a crap and it leaves all the decorations (BioOrb Brand name only) and the tank itself dirty. Thought it might have just been the type of food I was using but it does it with every type! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

A Sad Ending Predicted For Biorb
Well, boys and girls as the saying goes....” all good things must come to an end”. Thus tis the fate of Biorb. I give them two more years at most. I took a gamble on Biorb based on my past experience. I previously owned three Biorbs of various sizes. This Cube was a gamble. I'm a bit older now and was hoping for a tank that was easier to clean. My tanks have never needed much cleaning other than filter changes, but a couple times a year I usually scrub the sides down and tend to the plants (my tanks are fully planted). Anyhoo the round shape was getting difficult for me and my tanks are elevated. My past experience with Biorb was ALWAYS “high quality”. Not any more! The Biorb Cube 60l is an utter failure.Quality is horrid. Fluval, Aqua-clear and Dennerle are all better, ..........far better. Why?Biorb glued the lid down because the design was too weak to hold water.....so they simply glue the lid down to hold the sides together. Making cleaning nearly impossible!Filter is too small! Way too small! Plus the filter bottom openings are so big the filter will suck up all my shrimp fry!Air pump is ridiculously under sized! The instruction manual is for every tank but the Cube! A minor detail but I think my purchase should be at least mentioned in the company literature, shouldn't it?My old tank is still running after 15 years but the filter is stuck and I can't get it out. A piece of medium must have worked it's way under the filter jammed in tight. This new cube will be the replacement. Will the new cube last 15 years? Not a chance.......but then, neither will I, so what the heck.

The easiest to maintain tank I've ever had
The media could not be loaded. Love this tank. The filter & pump is concealed & it looks so nice. Had it about a year now. Very happy with it.

So cute!
It looks absolutely amazing. So beautiful, goes as homes decor!! Quite hard to clean since the top whole is very small. Also, takes 48 hours to set up before can add fish in.

I LOVE MY CUBE!!!!!
I absolutely love my Cube!!! It has such a unique look about it which is exactly what I was going for. I actually had purchased the round BioOrb prior, but got over it really quickly as it was not the adequate space I wanted for my betta fish. This cube is sooooo dreamy and my fish Norman has been the happiest I’ve seen him. I’ve had no issues with the filter so far and the LED changing lights are also a super neat option for changing the mood. I still think it looks best with white lights (and keep it on white lights most the time) in case you’re on the fence about spending more for the color changing lights. My only dislike about this cube is that the opening on the top of the tank is kind of small and inconvenient when I’m reaching in to change, move or clean. Other than that, this is an awesome tank !

Worth buying yes !!!
Very good quality, sturdy, elegant and modern. The right size of your looking to be in the middle of wanting to have up to a dozen fishes. Cleaning is somewhat easy but a little challenging to get fish out for transferring them to another tank while you have to the cleaning
