Google USB Type C to 3.5mm Headphone Adapter Pixel, XL, Pixel 2, XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3XL, Other USB Type-C Phones - White

I bought two of these on two separate occasions. The first one came in a sealed, official Google box. The second one was packaged only in a small Ziplock-style baggie. It was also shipped from overseas (U.K. I believe.) Despite this, it looks to me like the second one I got is genuine OEM as well. They are identical in every way, with the exception of the one letter difference in the manufacturing print on the cord. The one that came in the box has "G019B A89U" printed on it The one that came in the baggie has "G019B A89S" printed on it. (See photo) My guess is this difference represents a lot number or something similar. They both work just fine on my Pixel 3 and I have not had any problems with them. Since Google charges $12 for one, I have to say that this is an excellent deal and I recommend.

I ordered several headphone jacks from various amazon stores and this is the only one that's lasted! Other options are delicate or just stop working after a few months, while this one has gone strong for well over a year. I ordered a second one when I lost my first on a trip and I made a mistake in the shipping address. The seller was awesome about shipping it to a new address right away. Highly recommend for reliability from the product and seller!

Nice quality adapter that allows me to keep using my collection of 3.5mm headphones. To date, I've not noticed any degradation in audio quality, nor loss of function when using headphone-based controls. Highly recommend!

Super handy. My phone doesn't have an audio jack so this does the trick. As a heads up it can confuse the phones microphone into thinking your headphones are a mic sometimes. On and off problem but well worth the hassle to be able to use my headphones.

This was one of the only ones that worked for recording audio on my iPhone 15. The apple dongle didn’t even work.

I've tried another adapter a couple weeks ago and was discouraged when they didn't work at all. Since then, I narrowed my search and read very specific reviews that indicated these adapters would work on my Pixel 3XL. I took them out of the package and tried them both. They work great! No hesitation from the phone to play audio to my headphones. No message or error on the phone for something not recognized or whatever I got with the last junk. I'm so pleased. I can now begin using my playlist again through my headphones or other auxiliary devices. No original packaging - but I don't care. There IS a serial number on each one starting with the G as in another review, but I don't need to bore you with the pictures of a serial number. THEY WORK!! Yeah!!

Don't ask why Apple messed up so badly in transition to USB C... when they dropped their lightning cords But standard USB C cords did not work for input from a microphone. Nothing but static noise. If Apple hasn't fixed this major glitch yet... they should reverse-engineer this Google USB cord to find out where they went wrong.

I got this for my Google Pixel 6a, so your mileage may vary. I found this dongle to be absolutely unusable. Despite being plugged into the usb-c slot snuggly with no dust, lint, etc in either the dongle or the charging port, the first few minutes every time I connected resulted in ear destroying screeches and scratches, like someone messing with a record player but right in your ear drums. Id usually have to firmly tap the dongle into the base of my phone to get it to finally work, but eventually that (unsurprisingly) resulted in the dongle slowly breaking down. It's a shame that phone companies are moving away from headphone jacks as my wired headphones are so much better than Bluetooth, but if I have to choose between going wireless or having my eardrums rupture every time I want to listen to music, I guess I'm going to have to go wireless.

If not a guenine google plug the quality of this thing is amazing. I never had trouble. Work great!

音楽について語れるほどの聴力はありませんが、イヤホンジャックに繋げた時とこのアダプタを使ったときでは完全に音が違います。はっきりして音量も大きくなり、相当良くなります。3000円ほどの普通のイヤホンです。 ただし、2023年8月時点で2400円ほどでしたので値上がりは否めないようです。
