Impressive
If you want an automatic skeletonized skeleton skeleton skeleton watch within the $30 price point, this is one of your best choices!First of all, this watch is not meant to tell the time! This is a decoration to your wrist! It still keeps a great time, but mainly to decorate your wrist. Why I say this is because it is hard to tell the time with this watch since the hour, minute, second hands are all hollowed out, and there is no indication on the dial to tell the specific minutes. What I want to point out is this. This has no dial to indicate the time, hollowed hour minute second hands, and skeletonized,All this are designed to maximize to exhibit the skeletonized movement! When you see your wrist, you will just see the abstract looking skeletonized movement with moving balance wheels and escapement first before hands to tell the time. Also, the color of the second hand is bright red, recognizable even from afar that "this is a watch". So when you're sitting with your coworker or your friends, the tick tocking bright red second hands AND abstract looking skeletonized movement with moving balance wheels escapement parts will sure catch their eyes! I have already gotten many people asking about what's on my wrist be like, hey is that a watch? (YESSSSS)When you look on your wrist, you'll see the moving parts, and without knowing, the time passes by as you gaze at it. Even you look at your wrist to see the time, sometimes, you gaze at it for more than necessary to admire at the moving parts and end up killing your time. (A watch that can kill your time is a good watch)If I were to point out the downside of this watch, it will be the thickness of the watch, cheap metal, and the crown. The case of the watch is slightly thick for the wrist. The watch itself are skeletonized and uses cheap metal for the case, feels like you’re wearing cheap watch. I guess that’s what $30 price point has to offer. For crown, if you have a big hand, you will have difficulty from manually wind your watch. But this is an automatic movement watch. You don't need to wind them if you wear them daily since the back rotor of the watch will automatically wind it for you as you move your wrist.Overall, for $30 for this skeletonized mechanical automatic movement watch, I'm satisfied. This watch can get people's attention, it is a skeleton watch that able to see the moving parts, no battery needed automatic movement, and can gaze at the watch to kill time without knowing! But this is not a watch for people who value in quality of metal used for the case because it feels cheap due to its lightness. And also it’s not for people who want a watch to immediately tell the time because there are no indication. You will have to stare at it for bit. This is a watch for you if you value at looking at the moving parts of the watch movement.Great watch for the price!

Six months and going strong!
This is my third foray into cheap Chinese skeleton watches and the only one so far that has lasted more than a month. (To be fair the first one -- another Gute -- may have broken because of me bashing it too hard against something.) I LOVE IT. I actually really like the skeletonized design more than others I was considering: in this one, you can see most of the balance wheel, much of one of the other fast-moving gears, and another gear that moves more slowly but discernably. It's really fun to watch it go -- almost hypnotic. It's also a conversation piece -- others are mesmerized by it as welll.Other things: I don't have trouble reading the time from the black hands but mileage varies, I guess. My watch gains about a minute every day. The automatic winding seems to work pretty well to keep it wound if I put it on my dominant hand and I'm active all day (not sitting in front of a computer, moving my arms around a lot with my kiddos), but if it's on my non-dominant hand and/or I am at my desk during a work day, I have to manually wind it regularly. (it will often last for two days if on my wrist, but I usually just wind it every day so I don't forget.) Anyway I am really pleased by how well it works for the price!

Very cheap and poorly made watch.
I don't know what type of watches the other reviewers are used to wearing, but this was one of the cheapest looking watches I've ever seen opposed to the picture. Looks and feels like a 5-10$ watch. You can't tell what time it is no matter how literate you may be with anolog watches you will never be able to tell the time less you stair at it for 10 seconds or more each time. Returned it in less than 48hrs it's so cheap looking.

Not trying to pretend it is something it is not
$30 watch that is not trying to be something it is not by inflating price too much or adding fake parts to make it look higher end.No fake painted blue screws and the case feels like plated brass. The movement is not too loud and I can hear it for up to 3 feet away. The rotor sounds cheap and is ok for the price point. Machining on the internal parts is rough but, once again, acceptable for the price. The "genuine leather" strap took a week to start to break in. I am not a fan of the animal imitation it was trying for, so I replaced the band with a stainless one.The watch does gain 1-2 minutes per day and is in line with the specs. Case diameter is 40mm and in line with the specs. The Screws on top are not meant to be removed, and I forgot to measure distance from center to center of them to see if equal spaced.Hands are hard to read as some have commented, so I will end up pulling the movement out at some point to repaint the hands.Overall, ok watch for $30 and will be added in to my rotation. Watch does not feel like it could stand up to a daily beater, but good for occasional use.Case Diameter 40.12 mmCase Thickness 12.69 mmLug width 20.06mmLug to Lug 46.46mm

Great looking mechanical watch- automatic kind of works
So many compliments on this- paired with the tool band from Amazon and it’s a total man watch.Edited review - I thought at first I wasn’t moving much during the day but I’ve learned this version and internals don’t allow the automatic spinner to freely rotate as it should to really wind up the watch automatically. So… It does require winding maybe once a day depending how many winds you put in. Maybe high class automatic watches don’t need rewind as often but this was worth it for a nice tool watch I don’t mind banging up as a secondary. I grabbed myself a nicer primary more elegant automatic watch though

Looks not function!
It looks cool but that is it! It couldn't keep time for an hour accurately and that's not me being funny that's the truth! If it kept time it would be an excellent watch but for now it's in the box where it'll stay for good!
