Long review on a small headset.
I usually am not awed by the products I use, but once in a while some of them makes a really big smile on my face from the first sight. If you havent realised it yet This is definitely one such product. Can I be called an audiophile? I dont know. I dont run towards a cheap product nor do I wait in line for the newest item coming out of the premium store. I call myself a balanced person, maybe because I am a Libra? Most of the gadgets I used were such products, usually unheard by others but quality wise great. This is my first Bluetooth headset, so I dont have anything to compare it to, than my old headset - Rockjaw audio's Alpha Genus V2 (never heard off right??) Link : https://www.amazon.in/dp/B015N95BAQ/That being said I started liking having a slightly thinner earphone. It really reduces the microphonics (or simply the sound when the wires move.) Though that comes with its own problems.I wish the wires were braided, as I felt (mostly thought for real) that the wires might have snapped by the force I used..I also wish that headset went to somekind of sleep mode when the magnets collide.Setting apart all the little gripes I had first.. Let's discuss the positives.BatteryAs I mentioned, this is my first Bluetooth headset.. I am used to listening till my ears hurt, put the wire back in its place and repeat. But from a BT headset, you normally expect some x amount of time till it runs out of juice. And from my small questionnaire among my friends and colleagues that x changed from anywhere between 4-8 hours.I was intrigued by the claim of 12+ hours of music, and decided to test it I let the battery run its course two times before conducing this test, and I have attached the screenshot.I prefer hearing the music at half the volume. Have been using it while cycling and my morning runs, I didn't want its great noise cancellation (more on that below) to get me in trouble..To my utter surprise, and the said awe smile on my face, I realised It lasted me 15 hours and 24 min..!! (Give or take a few min till I switched on the music player and put a song) but still 15 whole HOURS...That's ridiculous..!!I would give it 5/5 for the battery.Noise cancellation. After my switch to Rockjaw Alpha genus v2, I realised how a good earphone differs from a decent one. It gives you this immense feeling of immersiveness that make the difference. This being an in ear headset, is not much different. It blocks out most of the ambient noises even at 50% of the volume and all of it, when the volume is turned up.I would give 4.5/5 for noise cancellation.AccessoriesIt comes within a nice little pouch, charging cable, different sized in ear thingies (ear buds), and ear hooks that keeps the headphones in the ears and not fall off.Out of the box, the ones installed were the large ones, or was it the medium, not sure now but the point is those were bigger for my ear and it quickly turned distracting and a bit painful. After changing both the buds and the hooks, which are super easy btw., it now sits firmly in my ear and there are no discomforts. So please make sure you use the correct size to avoid discomfort.I would give it 4.5/5. Love the attention to details on the small items. I personally like minimalistic design, and though I appreciate the stickers sent along with the box, I didn't like the logo on the side. It could have been engraved? Or better have a minimalistic footprint, just my two cents.Connectivity.I am pleasantly surprised at how fast it connects to my phone. "Power on...connected " that's been one of the first things I hear in the mornings.I searched for my phone in my phone three rooms apart from where it was actually because I left the song running and went to another room and to the other end doing some errand and it remained connected playing the song.I also used it to connect it with my TV, and watch Amazon prime videos without any fuss.I would happily give it 5/5 for connectivity.Build & Build qualityThis is an area that makes me worried. The wires are thin, not braided. I wish it were as I fear it might snap one day.I wondered where the L and R identification marks were, and its weird to see them on the ear hook. But it does help putting on the correct hook. The wires does get sticky after a run, but it surely dries off quick. Absolutely No doubt they are water proof as I had sweat profusely during workouts and a small jog in light rain.I would like to see a better way to close and open the charging port. I had this similar opening in one of my older phones and needless to say that feviquick was my savior at that time. So really wish to see a sturdier way.I find the buttons a bit plasticy, and lacks the response. It didn't connect my calls when I pressed on the middle button (maybe I got the key wrong...)I also wish the keys were in different size or shape to identity them without feeling all the keys.I would give it 4/5 for build quality.SoundI kept the most important topic till the end. Having used a headset that has a interchangeable tuning filters, I felt this as easy as a point and shoot camera. It does need some hours to burn in. But after that the sound is smooth and there isn't a likeness to treble or bass. No artificial enhancements. It remains balanced and that is something I like. The sound wise there isn't much to say than its pleasantly nice.I could however see the difference between my Rockjaw which does holds an advantage here, credit to its tuning filters. But at this price point it is as mentioned pleasantly nice..(maybe because I already said that I wasn't an audiophile)Calls made with the headset were crisp and clear. No distortions and no disconnections. I would give it 4.5/5 for sound quality. Its a long review and I dont know if I have forgotten something I wanted to mention. But to conclude, would I recommend it to others..? Definitely YES.15 hours battery and really balanced sound, makes it to the top of my list. I purchased for 2.7k and at that price point it is one good headset to look out for.

Hyperloop 1: Battery life and music quality while compromising usage comfort and connection distance
This is neither a fanboy review, nor do I have any grudge against the seller. This was my first Bluetooth headset. I have used this product for a relatively shorter period (Replaced Once). The Pros and Cons I noticed are:Cons. First (As I am returning this):1. For an unbranded Chinese headset (You read it right!!/Made in PRC) 3000 would be too much for what it offers.2. Just pathetic Bluetooth range. In the same small room, unhindered by anything there was call and music shutter (Tested on both Moto G5s Plus and iPhone SE), sometimes, there would be long playback gap/buffering pause (was playing normal quality offline music), that I thought the headset was disconnected. Took it to gym and the experience was even more pathetic.3. Volume control delay: This is the most frustrating part. Sometimes the volume control from phone would not respond and the only choice at that time is headset remote. (Pretty handy when you quickly want to turn the volume down using the phone in your hand, right??)4. Ergonomics: I know this varies person to person, but for a person like me who is used to normal straight canal type buds, the angle was really deal-breaking. My ears started paining after usage of an hour or so.5. Call quality: not worthy of a 3000bucks piece, sometimes the other person on the call would hear strange noises from my end when there was actually none. The microphones have no noise cancellation.6. Volume: Healthy or not that's a different question, but the volume is not up to the mark. Since the external noise isolation is also not so good, you will feel the need of a few extra volume steps for compensation while traveling in public transport.7. Hidden Trick: Keep pressing the volume up and down buttons (Siri function) together for a few seconds, the device would turn off without announcing, and wont start again until you put it into charging ;)Pros:1. Absolutely Brilliant battery life: They have promised 12 hours non-stop playback, but in reality i have got more than that (Courtesy to the lower volume I guess.) [provided image/at the time of screenshot, some juice was still left]2. Compared to the CX-180 I have, bass and audio quality is not bad at all!! in fact I would rather call this impressive (You need to tweak around the EQ a bit though).3. Light weight: Compared to similarly priced/same form factor headsets, this felt light (Compared with the one my colleague had). [again nullified by the angled ergonomics]4. Addition of that magnet feature: Liked it as it is a handy feature for Gym usage.5. Waterproofing: This feature is as good as the need of 16 GB RAM in a mobile (If you are getting my point ;) ). For a long time, I was using my CX180 in gym and I sweat a lot. That headphone is still working despite not having so called waterproofing certification (No offense). The only reason i choose this over that headphone was to avoid the wire from getting in my way while exercising. But, do not let my words discourage you, I think this feature would really come in handy if you want go for a "Musical" shower.Overall: bought this after seeing all those "positive" reviews. The result I got was unexpected (Maybe I got faulty piece of hardware twice). My verdict would be; Go for them, if you only wish to enjoy the battery life and music quality while compromising usage comfort and connection distance. But overall, this can not be used as a daily driver. (Refer to the attached Images, In case amazon decides to remove the verified purchase badge, as I am returning this.)PS: Updated the review and added 2 more stars because the gesture showed by the seller is touching as well as rare in real time. For any electronic product within any price bracket, support from seller/manufacturer should be an integral part coz sometimes, manufacturer support is needed more than the feature set offered. And I believe these people are doing an amazing job providing support and listening to the feedback of customers in a case by case manner, which is worth praising.

Good only for a couple of weeks
The product worked perfectly fine for a few weeks (about 5 weeks). But then one fine morning, I was in the gym and the earphones were 80% charged when I started working out, and after 15 minutes or so the battery dropped to 60% then after 15 more minutes it dropped to 40% and then it was dead in 5 more minutes. Since then, either the earphones won't turn on or if I manage to turn then on after repeated trials, I am able to get only 1-1.5 hour of total backup. Not anywhere near the advertised 14-16 hours (Though I must say I used to get 12-13 hour in first few weeks of use). I think the quality inside is pretty poor. When I tried to claim warranty, it turns out we need to courierthe product to an address in Delhi. This is very inconvenient and we don't even know whether the package will be received by the company.I guess though the sound quality is amazing but the build quality and after sale service is pathetic.
