The pitcher drains properly. The water tastes good. I bought because I can also use a flouride filter.I see some have complained about black specs. I suspect they are seeing charcoal. If so this is not usually harmful, to my knowledge.Nothing smells with mine with the original filter. Maybe the flouride filter smells, if so maybe it's a sign of effect because flouride gas smells. Could the filter be releasing gas in the filtering process?

I love this little pitcher and have been using it for nearly a year now. Have had no problems with it at all.

Do Not Buy this product! It does not work. After I bought it, I used a particle indicator to measure the difference in the faucet water and the filtered water, and no difference was found. Also, when I called the company (Not, Amazon, but Crystal Quest), I asked if I could get a refund on my shipping as well since I was returning the product because it did not work. At the time, I was told that I could receive my shipping if I send an email with the shipping cost. However, after I hadn't heard back from them for two weeks, I called back and was told that it was not their policy to return shipping cost (even if the product didn't work). So after I was told that my shipping cost would be refunded, it was not! Very Bad Costumer Service! (Again, not with Amazon, but with the makers of this product).

🛑 The filter water is great! But the part that holds the filter and lid slips. You have to be careful when you pour water because the lid and the internal part which hold the filter will fall out. FRUSTRATING!!!

I’ve used Crystal Quest Water Pitchers for years, and I like their ease of use, and quick filtration of good tasting/quality water. Pitcher is attractive enough to keep on the counter.

6 month filters or 2000 gallons

I bought this under the recommendation of Dr. Berg from YT. While most of his recs are good, this one was not. I don't mind the time it takes to filter the water, but it shouldn't be as slow as it is pouring. Additionally, when pouring, the unfiltered water leaks out of the top where the dial to change the filter is. Overall a very poor design. Save your money.
