Was preassembled. The only thing that was needed to assemble was the feet pedals. There was a wrench included to tighten bolts/screws but all were tight not needed at setup. It rides very smooth. Is very good quality and very sturdy. Easy to get in and out. It is easy for the "Patient" to push them selves around. Brakes work well but they are really tight so it does take some strength to lock them. Very good price.I have seen alot more on Medical device websites. But shipping was faster . it isnt too heavy to get in and out of car. It can go in trunk or behind seat. We have a Hyundai Elantra 4 door online says is a compact car. The seat it is behind doesnt have to be pushed all the way up to the dash to fit it in either. If you need assistance there are Youtube videos that can show you how and the easiest way to get in. (The Videos have this exact wheelchair. )

Fantastic lightweight wheelchair. I broke my left ankle and have to wear a boot while I wait for the surgery (and after.). And I cannot put any weight on it. We used the chair the first time to go to the Orthopedist and it was just perfect. My husband dropped me off and went to park the car. I was able to push the wheels myself and go up to the receptionist and later he pushed me back to the examining room. The wheelchair came fully assembled except I think he just had to put on the foot rests. It folds up nice and easily to put in the car after he loads me. I have nothing but good to say about it so far. I am 5’8”, 149 lbs, so I can’t advise about it if you are bigger but it works great for me. One additional point: the sides pivot clear up out of the way so you can transfer to a better chair very easily.

Inexpensive. Works well. Price is right. A good choice.

This wheelchair is really a good buy...it is easy to use, lightweight but sturdy, and fits nicely in doorways and on ramps. It is easy to fold and easy to load in the car. Like all Drive medical equipment it is built to last and easy to store when recovery is finished.

My wife has a debilitating disease and finds it difficult to walk. I was a little leery about buying this wheelchair because, I assumed, the price might imply low quality. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The chair was easy to assemble and the color and look is great. After a month of use, it heeded a little spritz with lubricant, but that was all that was needed. It rolls like a dream and is very comfortable my wife tells me. The movable footrests is a great feature, which makes getting in and out of the chair easier.

Ordered and received the very next day. Came in pristine condition. After opening 1 side of the box, it easily came out wrapped in plastic. All I had to do was take off protective wrap in a few areas and easily attach the foot pieces; no need to even use the included wrench. Rolls very easily and handles well going forward, backward and rotating. It has a nice sturdy feel to it; not cheap made. I'm very impressed, hopefully, it will perform well at least a few years. My husband is very bad with walking, using walker and 2 canes; not sure what the future will bring, so purchased this with anticipation of future need. Ordered a memory foam pad which will come another day.

We purchased this for my elderly mom who can't walk very far without pain. It's sturdy, pretty comfortable, and easy to fold up and put away. It's not to heavy to move in and out of the trunk, and seems to be built to last. It gets caught up on uneven pavement pretty easily, but it's fine if you just back over it. I'm not sure if that's the case for all wheelchairs, since this is the first one I've pushed around outside of a hospital.I did end up purchasing a cross bar handle for long walks, as it's just a little short for me to push for long distances. (I'm 5'7") The handles are comfortable to grip though.
