Assessing Neuromotor Readiness for Learning: The INPP Developmental Screening Test and School Intervention Programme

I was looking for something to use in the classroom that could be carried out by the teacher as well as a therapist. There is a nice, sequenced program that is not too technical for someone without a medical background. Once the child has practice in the exercises, it does take only about 15 minutes daily. A good collaboration tool.

This book has revolutionized how I view processing disorders. It is a must read for all administrators!

I paid a lot of money for a small book, but in terms of a program I am developing exactly what I needed- clear- direct - usable.

Great book that has great exercise progression to help sensory awareness in both kids and adults.

The book is good but I was very disappointed that there is an additional fee for the online access. The price for this book is very expensive for what you get. It states that online access is included but when you get the book it states differently. I emailed the company and they said it was a new policy and did not offer anything. This is classified as false advertising in the USA!

I own three books by this author: this book, Reflexes, Learning, and Behavior, and Neuromotor Immaturity in Children and Adults. I am reviewing all three books, since I spent a lot of time trying to figure out which of Goddard Blythe's books would be helpful to me. Since they are rather pricey, I hope to save someone a bit of money and time.Of the three books mentioned above, this is the most practical book. It contains an entire exercise program geared toward overcoming the retained primitive reflexes tested in the book. However, it does not address every primitive reflex that is described thoroughly in Reflexes, Learning, and Behavior. I did not like that, in the testing section, only stick figures were used to show the testing positions. For this price tag of over $90, photographs could have been included in the book.While the information is valuable, I do think that this book was very overpriced - hence the four stars. I'm not sure why the publisher thought this book should retail at $105. (I purchased another book that was four times as thick and one-third of the cost on the same subject, and the content of that book was quite good - definitely bang for the buck!)If you are looking for a practical handbook/program for overcoming certain retained primitive reflexes, this book is for you. The author is quick to say that you should always work with a professional. But if the problems you are trying to address are not that severe, then this book may be your answer.I hope this review was helpful to you; please see my other reviews on the two books mentioned above.

Comprehensive, lean book focused on the specific tools for assessing and guiding reflex maturity. It would be great to have the drawing tools accessible as pdf's.

The leading book in the World on this subject, a must for every health professional, teacher, or parent. I wish that I had had it when my child was born.

I have purchased the manual yesterday and it states in the manual that you can have access to training videos for free for one month, the link does not work, when I contacted them, I was advised that this is no longer available and can be purchased at an additional cost. It should not be advertised and in print if no longer availableThe manual itself is clear, well written but ideally you need to see videos as part of the purchase

I would like to bring to everybody's attention, that there is no longer free access to the videos. Therefore it is too expensive for what you get, a thin paperback book. I had to send it back.

On the advertising in Amazon it mentions 'online access to INPP video training materials' In truth this access is only for one month from time of registration. As the time span is so shot I shall have to choose my time to register. This should be stated on the advertising as this llittle book is very expensive for so short a time span of access to the online video.
