They are good

I purchased a 3-pack of these socks on 9/23/2024. On one pair the elastic that holds the sock up around my ankles is getting loose and they slide down the back of my heel. With another pair, the stitching around the top of the ankle is coming apart. With the third pair, I didn't start using them until about a month or more after purchase and seem ok for now.The problem is that I've bought these socks before and have had no trouble with them for at least a year.I don't write these reviews much, but thought this was a little too much! Especially when I paid $40 for the 3pk

I was looking for a thinner sock to go with my more active (running) shoes, even though I'm not a runner. But sometimes the thicker, taller Thorlo socks look kind of weird with a simple low-top sneaker (like leg warmers), and I needed an ankle length sock, but still the comfort and dependability of the Thorlo's that I love. This hits the mark! Still a bit of cushion, comfortable fit, and I'll have to get back to you on how they last... I've only had them a week. But so far, so good! I have a feeling that these will be with me for quite a while.

The cushioning is just the right amount. Saved me from having to buy new shoes or insoles. But the main thing I like is the thin mesh because it keeps my feet much cooler and drier than normal socks. These were my second purchase. I had bought my first pair years ago and they are still in great shape. I was suspicious of the mesh areas being less durable, but they have held up remarkably well.
